castrovilli. i think he is underrated here. he's really good. high energy, doesn't shy away from ball, and likes to run directly with it. i think he is ready for big team. him not having a good season means we won't get robbed by fiorentina like they did with the 3 hacks vlahovic chies and berna.

Way to miss the point. The best ability is availability. Both those shitcunts are liabilities because they're never there, and when they are, they are an obvious weakness. The same goes for Pogba btw. He's definitely an upgrade when available, but that hasn't happened.

Then what do you make out of our wingers and fullbacks?
We only have Chiesa who can't bounce back and an aging Di Maria. That's it. No options on the bench whatsoever. In the CM area we at least have some bodies, unlike for wingers.
The same goes for fullbacks. If we exclude AS and Cuadrado who should be gone after the season and MDS who is never there then we remain with Danilo as a single fullback on the sheet. Cambiaso will come back but that's hardly enough.
Cm area looks underwhelming, I agree. However, we have the other areas to be improved, asap. Considering the financial situation of the club, not a single penny should be spent on yet another CM, especially considering the fact we have Zakaria and Rovella coming back. I already exclude Arthur who most probably will never play for JJ again.

I think we need Rovella more than we need SMS. Not having a mid that can orchestrate has been the biggest issue with this midfield since Pjanic left/regressed, imo. Arthur was a huge bust and probably shouldnt have been leaned on to play that role anyway. Loca has had some flashes but is better utilized elsewhere. Paredes actually fit the profile but has been a bust as well, and should have never replaced Rovella to begin with.
