Almost 2 years. But the real thing is we absolutely need another creative attacker (with Soulé outgoing) and we have 3 left wingbacks in our team.

Good luck trying to sell Sandro, Desci or Pogba :)
„Almost“ two years yeah but cost double the amount of Kostic :) the sissy that never wanted to quit sassoulo for a real club, fck him.

Soule is creative? What did he create until now ? Lol the guy is absolutely overrated and a mediocre player nothing more. With Kostic leaving we need some creative player cause neither cambiasso nor Iling have shown it so far

Well I’d never signed these players or extended their contracts. But juve does and than sells useful players

kostic's assists in the last few seasons: 8, 9, 14, 11, 10 (and it's only the league)
iling & cambiaso assists in their careers, all competitions, total: 9

i'm all in for giving youth a chance but there has to be some transition. if cambiaso and iling could provide a total of 5 assists, we'd say they'd have a good season in that regard. if kostic stopped at 7, we'd say he's finished and sell him. last season kostic was better than 97 percent of all players in expected assists. cambiaso was 58, iling 53. and it's per 90 minute stats. bottom line is that kostic is an absolute elite assist man, the two youngsters are average at best. completely different levels of expected performance
While I agree with the message behind this, that Kostic provides an impact that won't be easily replaced, I think the stats some times miss the whole picture.

Kostic does one thing, which is run and cross. He is great at it so he is a good player, but that's it. He doesn't contribute greatly to other parts of the game. His one trick does result in a direct impact so his contribution is embellished by stats.

Perfectly put. Its insane you even needed to type this. Kostic is an elite crosser/consistent creator of goals.

To say lets sell him for pittance because he has already been replaced by young wingbacks who don't even have meaningful Serie A experience yet, let alone shown they can create goals for others on regular basis. It's really silly. And forgets a key fact, football is a meritocracy. If they want the job full time, they need to prove they can bring it on weekly basis.

Kostics assists is even more crucial now, because Weah is a good speedster, but he doesn't have good track record of creating goals either in his career (Cuadrado was washed, but still solid creative creator of goals), so need the assists from the left even more.

Pls.

If it was Tici signing him you'd try and convince the entire forum he is going to be the new Kante or something.

Looking forward to him now, knowing you don't want.
Well he's not the new kante because he's not a ball winner. I said some time ago he's fairly raw and in my opinion not good enough to start for us, whilst we are/have loaned/sold potential starters. So nice try with the paratici name drop.

I like Kostic, he brings creativity and experience. I like Illing, he brings pace and ability to be unpredictable.
I like cambiasso, he fits the system and looks reliable.

Let's keep them all, and sell Alex sandro
I think everyone want to offload A.Sandro but no one is really interested in taking him.

Kostic is reliable, when you have him you know what to expect. He wouldnt bring a brilliant performance but he will be solid. Illing is a monster in the making, under the right guidance he could become amazing.
I must say I was surprised by Cambiasso, he looked like a useful player. We should give him a chance.

What's the logic behind selling Rovella & De Winter?

I understand they're easy to sell for decent amounts because, besides their future potential, they're already solid players right now. But are we really that desperate for funds? I guess our current situation might be even worse than I thought.
What's the logic behind anything Jj för the past four years?
