You can't say that Kulusevski wasn't given ample opportunity to impress last season, he played 2700 minutes. That he is struggled is not surprising considering that the team did, but he could still have done better. I wouldn't say his season was a huge surprise, I've seen experienced new players in winning Juve sides struggle in their first season, never mind that mess of 2021. Chiesa and Cuadrado were two wide players who had great seasons last year, but they are a lot more experienced.
