Fact is Ajax has won shit since 1995 in Europe.
Fact is most of Ajax players who played in 2019 against us were not even born in 1995, and historical “facts” often ignores how good a team could be. Any loss is a failure of course, but if you can’t see how good that team was, and would like to brush them off as “college team” you’re willfully spreading bullshit.

It's not hype. It's simply that we need someone younger with Chiellini and Bonucci not being youngsters anymore.

If we cash in on Demiral, I'd rather Romagnoli than Rugani/Dragusin in the starting 11.
Yes, Milenkovic is young?

No thanks. Romagnoli might not be a world beater but he's most definitely a better option than Milenkovic.
You prolly just dislike him for some weird balkan reason.

Word up, bro. Allegri seems immune to criticism on Tuz.
There was a reason we parted ways and it wasnt all down to transfers and resources despite what some may claim. Of course he's fallible, made a many mistakes on the way, but there are very few out there who made less in a season. He really looked burned out come midway through that season, and i'm sure with the break his had, his come back better and refreshed.

In Allegri's own words from the first leg:

""But we conceded the first shot on goal after 37 minutes and it came out of nowhere. We were feeling greater fear of defeat at half-time than we should've done. It was difficult to explain,"

and in the second leg:

"
"In the first half we put our opponents in difficulty, we also played a good match, but football is crazy: we conceded a fairly fortuitous goal, after we got stretched out in the second half and should’ve had a different approach.”
Allegri added: “We should have played a different game, but they deserved it. In the second half we broke up, we often threw the ball away, which favoured Ajax with his technique. We tried to have more depth, but with the result that we were less compact; moreover, we gifted some actions, such as that of the second goal: in a quarter-final, it cannot be done"

He knows he messed up then. Full respect to Ajax though, they were no college team, sorry buts thats just laughable. Ajax were sensational that tournament and we're really unlucky against spuds. That said, I'm confident Allegri has learnt some of his mistakes, what was refreshing in his comments last week was the fact he mentioned the word "enthusiasm" to me, thats exactly the way the boys should start, we need to kill off the pressure and enjoy football, something we struggle to do especially in europe due to the failures from the past.

Unless we sort out our midfield the same thing is going to happen again as it happened in the champions league final against real madrid

Demiral against France in the qualifiers for Euro 2020 was an exceptional performance, we don't want another Kean mistake since we don't really know how good Demiral can be. Rugani has hit his ceiling a long time ago, I'd force him out.

No doubt the team was good but they humiliated us on the pitch. The scoreline could have been a lot worse.

Haha. No. Just don't rate him. I love our Balkan brothers.

I guess welcome back Pjanic?
If Locatelli joins us with Miralem, I'd give summer mercato a rating of 6/10.

We played 6 UCL finals after them though. Poor argument.
Compare us to Bayern Real Barcelona Milan Inter and nowadays City, Chelsea and PSG.

Juve and Ajax arent really in competition with each other. Ajax is amazing at producing talents and arent really supposed to provide a CL challenge and I think they also accept it as they dont have the funds to really compete with the elite.

Juve did better but also had like 10 times the budget Ajax had and while we were closer the result is still 0-0 since 96...
