If anything we have too many right sided players with Danilo, Cuads, Chiesa, Kulu and Dybala, there's no need for someone like Florenzi.
Cuads had to be overplayed at RB because his only understudy; Danilo was also used as a DM or LB.
Furthermore we only have 2 real wingers and Cuads could certainly give them a rest.
So a jack-of-all-trades as an understudy like Florenz ain't the worst thing that could happen to us..

Is it the worst thing? No. But surely it makes a lot more sense to just get a LW/LM type of player instead of getting a worse RB that'd allow us to shuffle Cuads to winger and transfer Chiesa from right to left.

Besides, Florenzi isn't a jack of all trades, even though he started out at Roma as a CM / wide midfielder / winger, nowadays he's pretty much only a RB.

It does but there are always 3 parties to a negotiation. And it ain't as simple as asking for Spina or whatever. If they want Dollar, we have to get rid of Szczesny fast and there ain't going to be that many opportunities.

Also, Chiesa is perfectly fine as a left winger nowadays. He wasn't at first but he's more than gotten used to it.

Juventus are to evaluate the futures of Rugani, De Sciglio, Luca Pellegrini and Perin. These players could be sold or eventually stay be part of the squad if requested by Allegri(Corriere Torino)

Allegri has confidence in Szczesny and could give up the Donnarumma idea, Allegri would prefer to strenghten the squad in other areas of the pitch. (Gazzetta)

99.9999999% Donarrumma to Juve (Momblano)

PSG have started contacts to sign Cristiano. CR7 has been waiting for months to leave Juventus, Allegri prefers to keep Dybala. Juve want around €25/30M or Paredes and icardi in a swap deal. Man United is one of the options he is considering, a negotiation that could see a swap deal with Paul Pogba(Diarioas)

He can play on the left but he's much better on the right so it makes sense to allow a player like Chiesa his preferred position to express himself. I'm tired of having players underperforming because they're used badly particularly when they can be major protagonists. One major reason why we finished fourth was because of putting players in the wrong place, the odd occasion Pirlo got it right we looked pretty good.

I don't think so anymore. He was just as good on the left in the later end of the season for me (the Coppa final for example). But anyway that's besides the Florenzi point as Chiesa and Cuadrado on one flank doesn't seem to work that fluently.
