same applies with keeping the old gang together. I’m assuming that’s because funds are limited and it will be tough to replace 3-4 more starters like Sandro, Bonucci, Chiellini (who I thought was retiring this summer) knowing that we need to invest in the midfield, replacements for CR7, etc.
As much as I hate the idea of chiellini playing one more year at least with him it ends in 22. I don't like this idea of clinging to a "comfort zone" with former players. How do they fit in a 2-3 year plan?
When you think the club is heading in the right direction by re-assigning Allegri and then goes on to sell CR7, keep Bernardeschi, Chiellini and Bonucci and on top of that bring Pjanic back.
