When are we swapping Ronaldo for Icardi?

Danilo De Ligt Bonucci Palmieri

Locatelli Bentancur

Chiesa Dybala Kulusevski

Icardi
If we end up in EL, yeah - that's how it will look like. Dybala is uncertain to stay but if we do swap CR7 for Icardi, I guess the club will make additional effort to keep him.

Our bench then:
Cuads Demiral Rugani Pellegrini
McKennie Fagioli Arthur
Kean Morata Traore*

* - the one from Sass whom we can buy for ~16m, confirmed by his agent...

You talk like we have the funds to sign them :shifty:

We are just as broke as Inter without CL
No we aren't. We are broke, but there are levels to it. Inter can't pay salaries or even honour the contract renewals they agreed with players months ago. They are in major hole right now. If they don't fix it Conte and some key players might leave. Their owners are out of funds and are functioning on bailout loans, Chinese government mandates you cant invest in foreign entities anymore etc.

Juve are in red and financial hole as entity without CL, mismanaged, but we are owned and backed from a financial entity worth 36bn. We aren't risking solvency.

I am just being realistic. Even if Inter were liquidated tomorrow, they won't sell their best players to us. I don't know why this is even a discussion.

They won't sell a single player to us. Not even worth talking about.

I'm just clarifying the vast difference of their financial situation and ours. If Exor was so broke they can't operate (they shut down their Chinese club cuz they couldn't pay the salary and maintain basic infrastructure), then and only then could our situation be similar to Inters.

Ofcourse dude but that doesn't mean Exor will keep pumping money into the club.

We are going to post record losses again this year.

Juventus will very likely have to work within their means which is going to be difficult without CL. In that sense, yes we're broke.

Either ways, even excluding the rivalry, why would a skint Inter sell their assets to a slightly healthier club like Juventus when you have those PL sharks and state owned clubs ready to swoop in. Just doesn't compute.

No CL means we need to reduce costs. So we'll need to get rid of some of our highest earners. Ramsey, Rabiot, Bonucci should all probably be gone. Ronaldo is obviously questionable. I wish we didn't plusvalenza Romero and Kean, as they'd be really good additions.
