here is who we will sign:

wijanldum on a free
sergoi ramos on a free
di maria on a free
aguero on a free
messi on a free
juan bernat on a free
otavio on a free
depay on a free
alaba on a free

even if no covid was here one of those will end up at juve. juventus can't resist "market opportunities"

however ramos, di maria and mayba alaba should absolutely be signed.
Depay - Maybe
Aguero - Maybe
The rest will not arrive

I`d definitely take Ramos if available but he either renews or go to PSG - It is pretty obvious to me.
Di Maria - Im divided here to be honest.
Aguero - Great another has been... and now the injured edition..
Messi - He will renew and if by some chance he doesnt its either PSG`s provide some insane offer or City does it. I see no chance to any other team.
Alaba - He is going to Real but considering the market and my expectations from our board I`d definitely like a player like him. Could play on the left flank.

No to Ramos and Di Maria. How many times do we have to bring in geezers on high wages, only to regret it later? :boh: :sergio: :b81:

I'm with you on Alaba, if he eases up on being a greedy cunt.

Not yet Bro. We don't know what might happen between now and June/July. Also, if we can dispose of some high earners and useless duds in midfield, anything is possible.

Locatelli and Aouar are huge upgrades - no arguments from me there.

The attack is visibly weaker - we don't need to sell both Ronaldo and Dybala.
Ramos would be great and we could introduce Demiral from time to time to get him grow. It would be like our defense with Bonucci only better...

Had a dream last night we swapped ronaldo dybala and bernadeschi for neymar icardi and mbappe. No cash involved. Besides icardi I was happy with it lol.

I think we will try to get some more freebies to fill the squad. As long as they are not injury prone I am ok with it and as long as they are for back up to help us spend money on starters.

No Ramos. He's going to be 35 FFS! How many old geezers do we need? Bonucci, Chiellini and Ramos would all be over 33.

Aguero has had his fair share of injuries, so no. Di Maria is also a geezer. No!

I`ll tell you why we DO NEED Ramos:
1. Ramos is one of the best in the world despite his age
2. The idea is to get someone on short term to let Demiral grow and understand he is going to be an absolute starter (of course it still depends on him) - Ramos will start instead of Bonucci and Demiral get the relevant experience to be more comfortable on the pitch.
3. Other options for our defense would be way more costly as it will involve a transfer fee and the player we would be getting will be way below Ramos level and Demiral still isnt ready to be an absolute starter.
4. Hopefully it would make Bonucci understand he is not a starter anymore and would want to leave.

Aguero - Yeah, I dont see him as strong as before and he will be on high wages without being that great (at least IMO)

Di Maria - Its a tricky situation as on one hand he is old
On the other hand, he is a proven assist maker - When I think of assists I think first of KDB but then are Di Maria and Ozil (the last one is not Juve level though).
Our team desperately need creative players and he would definitely fit well.
Without the covid situation I`d say absolutely skip and go for a younger player but if our only way of improving is free transfers - he is definitely a great choice.

So the good people of Tuttosport claim that we will cash on Dybala to get SMS.
I like Dybala and want him to remain but if we end up with one of these two - SMS has proved to be great and consistent while Dybala hasnt.
I repeat I think we should change the way we play - You could also see Ronaldo getting angry when the other players are not joining the attack on time.
For this to happen we need a great midfield and Dybala playing in an attacking minded team would make him amazing IMO.

SMS is also big strong and good in the air - He is the absolute type we need in our midfield.

Don't mind selling Dybala for SMS but I don't see which team is gonna take a chance on Dybala with his current form and fitness unless he comes back and out of nowhere, has a blitzkreig last few months of the season.

A couple of things...

1. Dybala has been injured this season, he hasn't missed seasons through injury so surely teams wouldn't completely write him off as an option. May not get the same value as we could have this time last season but I think some may be overcooking his injuries this season.

2. Selling dybala to get SMS is fine but let's make sure we replace dybala. We have this nasty habit of selling players to improve other positions without replacing the players we sell. E.g. Vidal and pogba.

As long as Dybala avoids operation on his knee, he'll be sold for 50m pretty easily. The problem is SMS' price which will be twice as high.

Guys, I think we have a decent squad but there still need to be some reinforcements. Maybe one attacker, an attacking mid, a fullback. Young players with a real future at the top of European football

I've got some ideas.

In attack I'm thinking Pulisic. He's been Chelsea's best player when fit and one of the best in the EPL. If we are also in need of a more typical CF type then Josh Sargent is an option, been starting in the Bundesliga since he was 19.

If we need an attacking mid I'm thinking certified UEFA wonderkid Gio Reyna. Integral part of an attack minded Borussia Dortmund and could be an excellent attacking mid/ Mezzala type for the next decade.

In terms of fullbacks I'm thinking Barcelona's Sergino Dest. Good attacking fullback trained in Ajax and can play both sides. With the shortness of fullbacks in our team (and most approaching 30) we could use this kind of verstalitity especially from someone young and technically capable able to be trained into our vice Cuadrado. I say we take him off Barca's hands at their fire sale this summer.

Obviously we are transitioning into a new era so that requires youth. We should only be signing the best young players, real stars of the future hence my recommendations

Additional players to consider in this mould are Timothy Weah, Konrad De Lafuente and Tyler Adams.
I think we need to start new scouting threads for each of them.

:disagree::disagree: No mention of Zack Steffen?

Considering the pandemic and our economic situation I would be content if we only shop in Italy to be able to include players in deals and defer the payments (loan+option/obligation).
A mercato of Gosens+Locatelli+De Paul+back up CF would improve us a lot.

Sell Dybala to fund a mid and replace him with Memphis, who’s a better tactical fit anyway.

I‘m actually really curious about this Danilo DM experiment. That could influence our mercato.

Danilo as a DM would be another midfield patch. Another summer where we just let the wound fester even more.

Plus it would further deepen the need for reinforcements on both sides for fb if he’s converted. Cuadrado isn’t getting any younger either.
