He won't come to us, pal. There is no way the likes of PSG, Man U, City, even Madrid etc. won't bid much more than us.

There's not a fibre in my body that believes Vlahovic will leave on a free. Of course there's always a chance but he's very grateful to Fiorentina in every interview and with every action. He genuinly sounds like a gentleman.
1. Every team will bid 75M as its stupid to bid more. as for wages - we have an advantage with the tax law. I think we do have a chance but I see City getting him in the end.
2. Vlahovic will not leave on a free transfer - He should and will renew with Fiorentina with some clause which I believe will be around 50M-60M. Right now he isnt a 60M player its true he can be but we need some certainty - Its not as if we are already CL final material..

SMS needs to join a bigger club. Considering cash is limited swap deals to plug the holes midfield makes sense.
We are convinced. SMS and Lolito also need to be convinced you know..

SMS has lost his luster looked pretty medicore this past season
He had been mediocre by his own standards but he did well overall.

I think we must find players like the kind of Vlahovic before they explode even if we will need to pay premium price
As example if Vlahovic goes to Fio for 2.9M euro we probably paid him around 10M (structured in transfer fee and bonuses)

And keeping our best homegrown youngsters like Fagioli, if we think he has the potential

I know a lot of people are talking about the midfield but I think we have a lot of options with Locatelli looking like he's joining. But who exactly is our starting CB next to De Ligt? Chiellini is old, Bonucci is ass and Demiral has unfortunately not shown enough. We need to invest.

I think we lack a goal threat from midfield both in terms or creating chances and scoring themselves. Plus a player to control the tempo, which hopefully locatelli can bring.

Completely agree though that we suddenly look light at the back.

Definitely agree but sometimes its tough doing it when you have a tight budget in Covid times..
Hope we do it in the future. I miss the days we signed Henry and Zlatan. We got them before they officially exploded but it was obvious they will.
    Liverpool did it with Suarez.
There is Malen now but Im still not entirely convinced he has that kind of potential.

I think we should give more starting time to Demiral.
How much does a top, experienced CB cost? Thiago Silva, Boateng, etc?

What was the last top striker to come to Italy when not underperforming?

That's subjective. I saw Vlahovic performing like any 60m player would do lately. Plus if we extend Morata's loan and try for Haaland next year it'll cost us 85 mil.

I think we will cut down the wages to around 200m per season before tax

    So the easiest way is
    CR7 out 31M
Ramsey out Fagioli in 6M save
Rabiot out Locatelli in 2M save
Alex Sandro out Gosens in 2M save
Tek out Donnaruma in 3.5M deficit
Bonucci out backup Chiello Dragusin Danilo 6.5M save

    Total 44m >> make total salary 236 - 44
    192M

    Only Donnaruma get higher salary

We need to reinforce left wing and attacker
So we can put around 8M salary in that post

Or Chiesa on the left Kulu on the right
Correia backup left, Berna backup right

If we can sell Berna, we can get player like Orsolini as backup or go for Boga or Depay to fill the left wing so Chiesa, Kulu on the right

Dybala is dispensable if we played 4-3-3 as he does not occupy any position. But he will be influential if we played 4231 seeing him in more advanced second striker role

But I prefer to sell Dybala and goes for pure #9 like Vlahovic so 4-3-3 will be our Dominant formation

Locatelli, Benta, Rabiot, Arthur, McKenney and Fagioli for 3 spots in midfield
This midfield still need at least 2 upgrades
