big gambling for zaniolo
maybe his playing style isn't suit his big body so his knee gave up
could change his playing style in for the sake of his future in football
remember ADP after his ACL injury? his speed decrease much

rather dani olmo or ryan gravenberg
Exactly and we dont have spare money at the moment. Zaniolo might be a gem of a signing but he could also be a waste of money due to injuries.
Better invest in someone who you know will improve the team and be a gem without any additional risks.

What if we swap him 1-1 with someone? How are they gonna get 50% of that?
for accounting reasons, there are no classic swaps in football, and even if there was any, a valuation should be declared anyway. remember the caldara-bonucci "swap"? valuations were very similar, but two separate contracts were made. same goes for the spina-pellegrini, cancelo-danilo, pjanic-arthur deals. legally these are separate deals with their own terms, and a valuation always comes with a contract. even the payment terms are defined separately.

if the clause still exists, the only way to "trick" boca would be a double sale. sell both rugani and bentancur to atleti. their market value is let's say 2m + 40m, their contractual value could be different though: we sell rugani for 40, bentancur for 2, boca get 1m. (and never deal with juventus again lol) this is shady af but legal. never gonna happen.

We probably can do that with Berna + Bentancur. Because we get berna for 40

So we will still get plusvalenza from berna too

Probably Bentancur 15M Berna 35 M for 50 M players swap

@s4tch I remember Fiorentina had 50% sell on fee on Rebic who they used to have briefly and barely used. Frankfurt fucked them over said 50% by doing a straight swap with Milan for Andre Silva, they structured it as 2 year loan swaps lol. So Fiorentina got nothing lol. Except the 2m Frankfurt paid to sign him from Viola.

I know this cuz of a Viola fan who was pissed at the time lol. Maybe we can do something similar with Bentancur if its necessary. That is if Bentancurs clause is same as the one Rebic had.

It works for the clause, but in this case we are not getting plusvalenza and these days we only sell to get it. Doubt any club would accept it too as they are also expecting plusvalenza, we would have to find a club who has a player with similiar situation to Bentacur.
