Juventus are interested in Gianluigi Donnarumma. Juve are currently in talks with Mino Raiola over Donnarumma, whose renewal at Milan remains at a standstill, but his desire to continue playing for Milan is complicating Juve’s plans(Diarioas)

Crazy thinking but i would get Felipe Caicedo from Lazio. Someone who dosnt piss anyone off but can come in and score a last min goal.
He has a goal every 100 minutes this season. Just keep him on the bench on low wage.

40 million sounds like a good price for him. It's a bit much but he seems like a top talent, probably higher potential than say, Locatelli
He is a good player but he is a totally different player than Locatelli.
Anyway getting Locatelli who is familiar with Serie A and keep playing great is way less of a risk compared to take someone who never had Serie A experience and isnt going to start for us anyway (at least not in his first season).

he is worth 30-40m max.
He is worth as much as Dybala - Maybe even more since he is younger.
Dybala`s current worth should be around the 60M mark so I guess 70M for Felix is understandable.

They are both CMs so its comparable.

And yeah, high risk-high reward. So it goes

There are different roles to CMs
Casemiro for example cant be compared to KDB
I mean if you want you can say KDB does a better job at his role than Casemiro does in his but when you create a team you dont just put 3 KDBs in midfield (Also because there is one KDB) but also because there is no one to cover for him.

Locatelli and Gravenberch? One is more tactically sounded and is really established in his role while the later is a talented player for his role but far from establishing himself.
If you wish to compare by roles then obviously Locatelli > Gravenberch at the moment.

Potential? Gravenberch seems like an explosive player so if he manages to mature in a way that helps him show his explosiveness more often, yeah he has a higher ceiling.

If we need to pick one for now - Locatelli will instantly walk into our starting 11 while Gravenberch would be the talented kid that comes off the bench and deliver some nice moments.

I must admit though Gravenberch has something I cant really point on but he reminds me a bit of Pogba.

Exactly. Get 'm both ;). We certainly need a proven entity, adding a risky move (albeit with a high ceiling) should only be done if the base is in place.

Will this summer be yet another volume of the “not fixing our midfield” saga?
The two geniuses running the show are convinced that the midfield they’ve put together is more than good enough. So don’t expect anything more than Locatelli, who is criminally underrated on this forum because of his nationality, and that’s about it.
