Just sell Ronaldo's ass. Stop with the BS doomsday scenarios of how we will end up at the bottom of the table without 37 years old, well past his best days superstar. No, we won't. FFS, Real were not paying him 30 million while he was scoring 70+ goals per season and now we pay him 1 million per goal. This is absurd.

Would like to suggest a player today, even if it might be an unpopular suggestion. :boh:

Clearly Tuchel has lost the plot with Pulisic subbing him at halftime without even telling the player. So Pules might be available for a decent price if we can force a move. Wouldn’t be a bad option on the opposite side of Chiesa. ;)

I don’t see him going anywhere else in England and the big sides in Spain have players in his spot, so that leaves Italy...

I REALLY like this take!

Would be a nice pick up

We are as big a sinking ship as them right now. Both clubs are in shitty situations to the point that it doesn't make sense for their brightest talents to swap for either of these two clubs.

Barca generate nearly a billion in revenue. We'd be lucky to generate half of that right now.

These rich football clubs will eventually find a way to sustain themselves at the top. Their protected status, their leverage with Spanish banks will all help them get them out of their current mess. Or maybe some Arab will bankroll them with a dodgy sponsorship deal. They will find a way for sure. Just like Real Madrid.

We have a long way to go to even get to that level and have the same leverage of these elite clubs.
It seems from the outside that Barca are in way deeper shit than you. But true, they’ll probably recieve the necessary funds to get bailed out.

But Barca shouldn’t be as attractive a club as they used to be in the last 10-15 years.

Hmm, I disagree to a degree here. Whilst they will probably receive help, the sports investment companies that circle big clubs in trouble (and are usually bankrolled by the Arabs) are going probably have a higher interest rate than Goldman Sachs, for example.

I can see a loan from them happening, but it absolutely shouldn’t enable them to go on a spending spree as they probably will have €30-40m in interest to give back each year. Whether that is taken in the form of real estate or not, Barca should be handicapped.

They really should be left with no choice but to change their transfer policy to Pedri style move. But this is Barca, and they are the most pompous, short sighted and probably idiotically ran club around. They shouldn’t but they will probably ignore this whole situation given a cash injection and still go for marquee signings.

The whole thing is just like a water balloon being over filled and I am going to have one big gigantic laugh when it finally explodes.

I see we are still going nowhere..
Instead of really improving our team we choose to go for overperforming free agents who will then turn out to be a liability on our wages.
I rather se sign someone who is unproven but seems talented - He will get low wages and can easily be sold should we want to as he wouldnt ask for crazy wages from another club.

Both Rabiot and Ramsey are here due to this system and I admit I was wrong on both at the time but to do the same thing and expect different results is just stupid...

Juventus are in pole position to sign Hakan Çalhanoğlu if he does not find an agreement with Milan to extend his contract. The talks are on stand-by. [Sky]
