I think he can return to his best, its all about confidence and he thrived when he was the go to guy on the team. At City he was less of a protagonist but at Roma he is going to have be the leader of the attack
Offcourse not. He'll probably do better then his previous season, but he wont be better then what he showed at man city.

I can't see us signing a trequartista this year, unfortunately.

What happened to the Saponara deal? I thought he was supposed to come for 13 million, but then I heard Napoli were going to buy him. That was a while ago too.

From Gotze to Sneijder :howler: The media keep playing tricks on us while the tuz makes Arsenal Mania look like a bunch of reasonable and sane fellas.

I never wanted a mercato to be over as quickly as this one. Mercato finito!

why are people putting mandzukic as a starter in this line up?? Morata and Dybala should be the front two...that is simply awesome.
Why would we bench Dybala, the creative player, and have two strikers without a trequartista ?

mainly because mandzu will force himself as starter.
Stop there, and its a good post

I expect big things to happen today.
Juventus ready final Draxler bid

Juventus will reportedly submit their final offer to Schalke 04 for Julian Draxler this week, believed to be worth €27m.

Gazzetta dello Sport believes that the Old Lady will make a non-negotiable bid consisting of €18m up front and a further €9m of bonuses in the next two days.

However, the German side value the attacking midfielder at €30m and reportedly will accept nothing below this figure.

The paper also reports that a five-year deal worth €3.2m per season is ready for Draxler should an offer be accepted.

Meanwhile, Gazzetta also reports that Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela has overtaken his teammate Christian Eriksen as the Bianconeri’s alternative target.

The former Roma man is believed to be on the market, and La Stampa has reported today that Spurs have offered the Argentine to Juventus.
