Quite a few of our players were, especially in the first half.
Imo some people have a goldfish memory in regards to Vidal.

If I remember correctly, we coped perfectly fine without him even in the 2nd half of 13-14 season.

Our clinicality in front of goal remains a question mark right now with Tevez gone.I am not as worried about creating chances as much as when it comes putting them in the back of the net.
This remains to be seen next season.

Awful Summer if we really did sell Vidal and have nobody even close to world class coming in.

Very poor. Stinks of a feeder club mentality.

Oh sure take a key player from us with no resistance and no competition. Hopefully we can use some of that cash to raid a shit Italian team though.

Is Witsel any good? What sort of player is he? I see that happening.
we are bound to fall flat on our faces again when trying to bid for witsel so I highly doubt he will come for that reason alone

Which CM do you suggest ? Any names on your mind right now ?
I'd have loved Allan tbh.

Doesn't have to be anyone fancy though, a young guy à la Sturaro or Pereyra when we signed them would suffice imo. This Donsah guy from Cagliari for example, although I gotta admit that I haven't seen him play a minute and go purely by what I've read others say about him.

It's mostly for rotational purposes, we shouldn't spend too much money on it imo, better to save it for an AM in the coming two windows.

time yes but we have tended to do the majority of our business before pre season is in full swing which was the case up until we sold Vidal, now we are looking for at least 2 or 3 positions which needs improving instead will just be filled with able bodies to plug the gaps till next summer. Marotta and co have hugely miscalculated this summer's targets and considering the funds we supposedly had we are still looking like a team that is looking in the bargain basement, that is even after selling Vidal. Money shouldn't be as much of an issue as before yet it is the same excuses over and over, sure realistically speaking I'm not expecting a 50 mill player but at the same time our manner in which we tried to low ball schalke for draxler with results of epic failure is quite frankly embarrassing for a club our size
You're right man,we have the money to sign GOOD players.we for sure have the Vidals sale money and CL money.
Besides Zaza,i do like our moves this summer, but we are still missing AM and FB.
And if Khedira and Asa not likely to be fit soon then another CM/DM as well.

Let's hope Beppe will suprise us maybe with at least 1 HQ signing for those 2-3 spots we need.
Anyway i'll judge on our perfomances on the pitch.

We're looking to other top teams in Serie A and evaluating their chances based on a number of names on a list. That's on paper - none can say for sure how good Inter, Milan, Napoli, Roma, Lazio really are.

While Inter may have a strong team with a promising player like Kondogbia, this player isn't a Pogba just yet! It must be underlined how we are still of a strong core of players with winning DNA.

The closing gap is a big advantage for us, competition will help us when we play in the CL.

Well, Beppe says he prefers to sign Italians because they understand the value of Juve. Here are some he should look into to fill our needs:

Vazquez
Roberto Soriano
Balotelli
Romagnoli
Florenzi

If Dybala is indeed our treq then we need somebody at forward and I don't know about you but Balotelli as talented as hell. Had good time with Milan while he's behaved well for Liverpool.

Would not mind taking a loan this year and seeing how it goes. Worst case scenario we send him back to Liverpool and best case scenario is we get the Balotelli that dominated the Euros in 2012 and at 24 finally matured.
Whatever happens, Mario has shown signs of maturity his year at Liverpool. His talents have never been doubted.

I wouldn't mind Vazquez, Soriano or Florenzi, but Balotelli is a bullet to dodge and Romagnoli is way too expensive as of right now. Roma turned down a €25m offer from Milan a few weeks ago.. Vazquez for CAM isn't an upgrade to Pereyra but it would add to competition and allow Pereyra to play CM as well.
Vazquez for -€15m is a go IMO..

We should have traded Vidal instead of selling. He could have made way for Götze, Isco, Oscar, Silva or someone of this caliber..

I like Soriano but none of them are going to take us up a level or even keep us at the same level as last season.
