It's simple. Either get a top AM or get no one and wait until one's available. Marotta has to forget his old way of getting someone for the sake of getting someone even though they won't add anything to the team. I want to believe he's over his old ways.

What if we let's say do this. Sign Vrsaljko + Sandro and let Pereyra play as TQ until January and rotate him with Dybala. That would allow us to return Asamoah in midfield.

Juve target Sporting Gijon starlet
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have set their sights on Sporting Gijon teenage centre-back Jorge Mere Perez.

According to the latest transfer rumours from Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, Meres has attracted the intereat of Coach Max Allegri.

Mere only turned 18 in June and is already a Spain Under-21 international.

He started out in the Real Madrid youth academy, but quickly moved to Sporting Gijon in 2010.

His Segunda Division debut arrived at the age of 16.

Despite his tender age and lack of full team experience, Mere still has a release clause of €25m on the deal that doesn’t expire until 2019.

Berardi is a must next season, we cant lose him to any other team!

Now back to this season,if we cant get a proper wc young AM,lets try to get some cheap option and then splash the cash on Kurzawa.. I still only have Cazorla for that inexpensive AM option, probably Vasquez, but he will still be costly knowing Zamp.. Any good cheap AM from Ligue 1 or La Liga?

We either get a top AM or we don't at all.

Why do we need a cheap AM?

Vasquez, seriously?

He turns 21 today.
In regards to serie A players younger than 21, he's got the best numbers for the last 30 years (probably even more, I didn't count it prior to 1985).

He's got 48 goals+assists on 58 matches. The closest to him is Alexandre Pato with 43 g+a on 77 matches before he turned 21. In comparison with some serie A legends, Del Piero had 24 g+a on 53 matches, Totti had 25 g+a on 88 matches, etc.

Staying clear from injuries, I don't think there is a risk of not making it big time for Berardi. He scores AND assists, unlike, say, Pato, who got his great number mostly from his goals. The only two attackers we had in the last 2 decades who both scored and assisted that much were Del Piero and Tevez.

He scored or assisted on 17 of the 32 matches he took part in serie A this season. Tevez scored or assisted on 19 of the 32 matches he played in serie A the same season. That's more or less the same consistency.

Also, it's far from a guarantee that playing for a weaker team makes it easier to score and assist goals.
Alen, you need to post more you human encyclopedia

Yeah I heard, but however beautiful she is, she gets into the series in season 3. I watched first half of season 1, it was so shitty I wanna forget it's existence, not watch 2 more seasons.

If we need a fullback, then get a fullback. But i don't like the idea of spending 25m+ on someone who isn't good enough just because we lost Vidal and it now feels like an obligation to get that someone.

We don't need to. Play what we have Pereyra/Dybala/Pogba or whoever Allegri thinks can fit the AM role for now.

Yeah, I agree I would go after RB and LB Vrsaljko and Kurzawa/Sandro and give a shot to Dybala/Pereyra damn even Coman :)

Even if berardi flops, we need to buy him.

At the very least we will be able to sell him to inter for millions of profit. But ovs it would be better if he turns out good for us.

We need a CAM unless Pogba is world class in the position. Vidal was a world class CM and playing him as CAM was a waste of his talents. Pogba is a world class CM and might be a very good CAM who knows but Id rather keep him where he is already growing and flourishing and add a world class CAM.

Is Mata on united's bench? or do you think he will start?
Vidal wasn't being played to his strengths rather his relative weaknesses. Although he scores a lot of goals his defensive capacity is higher than his attacking one...not a sharpshooter by any means of the definition. His goals were a testament to his tenacity and persistence in pressuring defenses.

Pogba on the otherhand is better at dribbling and shooting amongst other things. We would be playing him to his strengths in a CAM position. His goal tally will improve and he'll have more energy reserved for what he's amazing and we all know thats defensive coverage (even though he's not weak at that by any means).

So the question is...Do we have the ability to sign someone this window that will eclipse Pogba in that position? Or would we be better of signing someone in the CM position and risk the Midfield needing time to gel?

Giovinco was even better.

Pereyra > Vasquez.

if we cant get quality this year we should rather safe the money.
