Brazilian reports saying Fluminense's management are meeting Paratici (they specifically mentioned him) and Gerson's father next week.

Barcelona and Juventus are fighting for Gerson. They say Barcelona already paid 2.5M for having the preference for him. If Fluminense sells to another team they will have to return the 2.5M to Barca.

Reports saying price tag is between 12/15M. And that Gerson's father wants his son to go to Barcelona only.

Hopefully Barcelona signs him. For this price, it's not worthy. He's a huge question mark, the kid is nowhere near ready to play for Juve's professional squad. And of course a 12M player won't go to Primavera. If they loan him out to small teams I'm positive he'll be ruined. He'll struggle bad in Serie B or in a small Serie A side.

I'd be ok paying at most 5M for him. We don't even know his correct position on the field. Too slow and poor movement off the ball to be a winger or an SS, and maybe even an AM.

CM could suit him well with his offensive qualities, but he doesn't seem to have enogh stamina to defend and attack.

Let's dodge this bullet and let Barca pay 15M for him. I'd be double happy

They did. As much as my guts tell me he's the real deal if i'm wrong we've been screwed badly. And it's actually bad to have this kind of pressure on the kid, but hey, 40m.
