"Free", big signing-on fee and salary plus stacked CM says no for me.
The numbers rumoured have been 8-10m€ salary + 10-15m€ signing fee.

ive read Schalke will go for him, doubt the wages would be a problem if no big teams are interested (strange that he already didnt find a new club). having said that, i dont really care if we sign him or not. if we do ill think fine, good player for free. if not then we didnt need him anyway.
The Schalke deal looked done and dusted, but Schalke totally imploded and who wouldnt understand Khedira changing his mind.

Although I agree with the sentiment that we should not sign Khedira, I do still find it funny that people are ignoring depth again after a season where our 9th choice CM (Sturaro) was playing in the CL SF.

i heared that Cassano boy is supposed to be the next big thing.
He could have been something really extraordinary should he opt to sign for us instead of Roma!
Cassano IMO could have been the true successor to the Italian greats of Baggio Del Piero Totti but he fucked up went to Roma continued his behavior and ended up being a Sampdoria star
No disrespect for Sampdoria but being a star for Sampdoria is nothing like being a star for a team like Juventus...

Berardi- He is a good player and all but I dont see him becoming that great. Cassano was a guy that even blind men could see his immense talent

Word. There's no way Khedira would be offered his Madrid salary at Juve. Tevez only earns 5.5M. If he really is the absolute poo water as some here claim then he can play at center bench while Asamoah and Sturaro earn their places and Marotta can sell him for a profit to Meelan. Good bit of business.

I would prefer we buy Allan though. He's my kind of player. Looks like he could become top class in a growth environment like Juventus' and yes I've only seen his games against Juve and a series of extended Youtube reels :anon:

I do still find it funny that people are ignoring the finances of the club again after a season where we proved our youth could fill in perfectly, and we dont need a startermoney player on the bench thats eating our budged.

Its not about depth son, its about debt. We all like depth, but it has to be created cost-efficiently.

Well I'm sure Marotta won't sink our finances to sign Khedira.

Besides his injury problem, people are actually questioning Khedira's quality? :howler:

Would have an expensive signing-on fee/wages, and would be a bit of overkill for us again in midfield, but when fit, he is a seriously quality player.
I think many here miss the big picture
If we are interested in Khedira then maybe it means someone with qualities same as his is going to leave ->Vidal...
I think we will accept offers of 40M and more for Vidal which isnt such a bad thing as to be honest here - Vidal wasnt that great this season apart from the Madrid games...
I personally wouldnt want to see him leave for less than 50M or even 60M but I guess its up for the board to decide...

Khedira isnt a bad player - hack he is even a very good player!
He is more of a defensive player who has some king of dinamo and can also go forward
I agree he is not exactly our wet dream but if you get 60M for Vidal and you get Khedira for 10M it means you can also buy a great player to learn from/replace Pirlo in the future or for example we could get Cavani

Then why bring up the depth thingie, when its obvious no one is talking about depth, but his horrible quality to cost ratio
It was just an observation that I thought was funny. People listing our CM "depth" with players like Marrone in there. Romulo who we might not keep and just finished a completely unhealthy season. Asamoah who is a LB right now. Pirlo who is toast.

TBH right now I see 5 quality, sure-fire CMs. Pogba, Marchisio, Vidal, Pereyra, Sturaro.

And are we forgetting that Allegri prefers Vidal at CAM. So we are basically starting 4 CMs every match and we definitely don't have 8 CMs to count on for next year.

I sincerely hope not. I don't think Pogba or Pirlo are leaving either. But if they do win the CL, it certainly is a possibility that an EPL team will empty the bank for one or both. Man City wants Pogba and Liverpool apparently wants Pirlo to replace Steven Gerrard.
I think Pirlo could definitely leave contingent on our winning the CL. Other mids will no doubt be pushing for their place next season and I don't see Pirlo holding his spot on merit for much longer. He wouldn't accept the bench at any club. So it would seem very appropriate to part ways IMO. Would be interesting to see how Pirlo fared in England.
