first can you refer to the strange things that i say ??? and i’ll show the real strange things that you say.. witsel is playing offensively ?? that’s a joke right ?? witsel is pure defensive cm..you can see more matches for him before you say things that you don’t know..
and when nainggolan played for belgium in the first place to correct witsel’s mistakes that you talk about ?? nainngolan played just 10 matches for belgium and most of them come from the bench..i don’t think you know what you saying..witsel played 54 matches for belgium and he’s always start
then you started to talk about our cms and you compare them with witsel... i told you in previous post that he’ll come in case of selling pogba.. so he plays as defensive cm and vidal,marchisio easily playing around him in cm..

Better focus on a target and get him early,rather than hoping for random opportunity targets and get a panic buy.

See, this is the thing. You know very little of Witsel, Nainggolan, and the belgian NT.
For a while, despite having an exceptionally talented generation, we fucked it up. We kept fucking it up. At some point, the NT coach introduced Simons. An aging cm to bring balance to the team, that was largely imbalanced. When the talented generation kept improving and doing well, the results improved, but we never really played close to what we can do, and our midfield was a horrible joke.
We scraped trough to get to the world cup, in a group that was talentwise so far behind us. All the offensive players and wingers, kept underperforming. At the worldcup, we needed a lastminute goal in each of the 3 groupgames, while beeing in a group with the 3 worst teams of the entire worldcup. Argentina later humilliated us, by making chance after chance, scoring and afterwards, lock the play up, we didnt get a single chance in the entire game.
But allready then, there was great controversy around Nainggolan. Back at cagliari, despite beeing extremely good, our NT coach didnt even bother watching serie a. So he went to Roma. Then when he came at the NT finally, he was dropped cause he had a disagreement with Kompany, wich created quite the fuzz around here,as most people who actually watch football knew we were leaving the only actual CDM (and a very fucking good one) at home.
After the worldcup, Wilmots decided to use Nainggolan. Suddenly, the entire team explodes. Hazard, De bruyne, whatever central forward, they all start to play to their level. Nainggolan is now widely regarded by every analyst as the only CM that is a certitude. We cant play without him in the midfield, because he balances out the entire team.
Defour did it a bit, but isnt good enough to do it entirely on his own.
Witsel and De Bruyne at some point tried to do it at the worldcup. We were mocked about cause Witsel is a horrible defensive cm, who is the opposite of Marchisio. Always out of position, never cutting run and passing lines, poor tactical sense.
Nainggolan is simply doing it. He allows the other 2 cm's to be alot more free with a decent workrate while he balances out the midfield
What you are doing, is simply looking at statistics. I actually watch all our games.
You go on saying Witsel should be a defensive cm. Thats the big mistake. He is simply awfull at it. Witsel thrives if he can play forward with not to much defensive work, and infiltrate the opponents defence. Bit like Marchisio used to do a few years ago.
It is extremely obvious to everyone, that Marchisio is the CDM, and Witsel and Vidal should play ahead of him. But witsel would be such a huge drop in quality, and the team would be better off using asamoah instead, or go 4231.
Market value, is market value. Its not what benfica sold him for. At this point Witsel is worth about 25 mil. Vidal is still over 40 mil. Cheesio was 30ish before his injury, and Pogba is 50+mil

I really doubt that Marotta can make more than 25mil from Vidal and that ammount wont be enough for him to buy Witsel now. So the situation for us is that we lose money to downgrade...
And whats worse is that we are distracted from the areas we are really suffer from and ought to focus our attention!

come on..you saying that belgium performance got better just because of nainngolan ??..he’s not even in the line-up of roma and even the old keita came and took his place with pjianic and de rossi..bottom line nainngolan is an average player and witsel is way much better..and even the value is not even close.
and don’t let me start with the ridiculous amount of money that the EPL teams paying for average players and i’ll give you an example..andy carol from newcastle to liverpool 50 million euros..luke shaw from southampton to man u 45 million euros..ander herrera 43 million..is this enough ??

we need to a Trequartista like him that play near Pereyra and can be move up to trequartista or just behind the strikers.but I don't see Pereya as effective in the trequartista role. Are we just gonna shore up the forward and try and land a trequartista in the summer, or will someone else be targeted? Should make for an interesting mercato.
