Since when a Hoffenheim player costs 35mln?

What's so funny? Are you high? Hoffenheim is not a poor club, they don't need to sell, so why bother with sub-35M?

Arsenal on the other hand are just losers. I could see no other reason for someone to want to go there except for the money.

The brand name is obvisously bigger (though I'm not so sure about the situation in Brazil - you probably know more than me here, but I was under the impression that Serie A was relatively popular in South America). However, you also have to consider that United are stakced with AMs: Di Maria, Mata, Herrera, Rooney at times, Januzaj, even Young. We've barely got one, so he's pretty much guaranteed to play substantial amounts of minutes. Add to that the already mentioned cultural issue, where I think it's safe to say that Italy would be more appealing than England, I'd favor us in such a scenario. Though the opposite wouldn't be far-fetched either, you're right.

Not that talking about this really makes sense, if he goes to United it will at least be partly due to them offering way more money to both club and player. The financials are an aspect where we definitely cannot compete with them.

I agree though, they wont be among the favorites to sign him..hard to predict what he wants. He came out not long ago naming Bayern, Real and Barca as his preferred clubs..so humble.

This list is of course not trustworthy..some of them makes sense though and some clubs being in the background. It will be interesting to see, where is he going to. I think Juve have good chances, if Bayern dont come knocking.

Relatively maybe. The thing is... The younger generation is all about either the Spanish teams or the English league and my old friends, the old farts like, the ones who followed Calcio in it's glory days in the late 80's and 90's, don't even bother anymore. In fact I'm tired of being made fun of for still following what they call uma várzea... something like an amateur-provincial league.

I don't even know why we're discussing this tbh. Seeing how many clubs are interested in him, there's no way in hell we can compete.
