How easy is to blame Marotta when u can't understand basics of building football team and keeping it competitive for long period.
State in which is Juve demanded lot of risky steps to be done. Yes loosing Pirlo, Tevez and Vidal r risks for this year stability of the team. But keeping them for one more year is more dangerous for the future of Juve, because there is big probability of loosing 3-4 players next summer, Pogba, Morata, Evra, Barzagli just to name few.
Imagine the work and luck u need to replace 7-8 top players in one window. Here I recognize the top job done from Juves management, addressing the issue before it's become a problem. Doing the changes when you are on top so the transition be less painful, maybe this season Juve wouldn't be dominating the serieA or go SF in CL but will stay in the top teams.
Future looks bright.
I saw that, and couldn't believe what am I reading.

And end up like inter did last couple of years.
Looking the bigger picture, I can understand every purchase this summer, even Zaza.
Great posts!
Very well said.

your thoughts on draxler ? do u think we'll get him or you've gone full Nostradamus on this one ?!

i dont know much about him tbh and i do trust nostradamus so wherever he stands on this im with him :p i think we want to get someone asap it's almost august and we dont have a formation, if we dont have anyone in a week or so expect to see cuadrado loan with obligation to buy

We're 100% getting an AM though. No doubt about that.

I cant imagine us making a panic signing in the first week of August. There's still so much time left even if we somehow dont end up getting Draxler.

Mkhitaryan would be the nightmare :scared:

Good game or not it was just a friendly match and it means absolutely nothing.

Mkhitaryan would be a good signing imo. Surely not a world beater but he'd most likely explode in Serie A. If Gervinho did it then so can he.

Having said that, no, I don't think our priority should be Mkhitaryan.

Thats the problem!
I dont want us to be ok for now and maybe great in the future!
I want us to be great right now!
For me the name Juventus means we will always aim for CL glory and should be one of the prime candidates!
Last season we were able to go toe to toe with Barca and honestly we could also win those games
This season no I really dont think we would be able to match them as our team lost defensive force with Vidal out and lost some amazing power upfront
The best we could do is sign a great AM who can be as lethal as a forward but also give great passes and someone who can organize our play someone like Verratti
Goetze Verratti would be great but we obviously not going for Verratti and we dont seem to be able to get Goetze either
I dont say Draxler would be a failure but up until now Draxler and Dybala are gambles not guarantees!
Hope our gamble pays

Gervinho had like one decent season then turned to shit.

Draxler, Pogba, Morata, Dybala and maybe even Rugani. I don't like how young they all are. I'd have felt much more confident had Tevez stayed. I like youngsters to be introduced to a well oiled fully functioning team that can win with or without the youngster. Its the kind of atmosphere that is safe for players to grow without crazy pressure. I dont like our winning to be almost entirely dependent on youngsters. Its a lot of pressure. Hopefully our defense can stay solid as a rock.

Ideally we would have kept tevez (so had the same attack) and used the Dybala money on Draxler or Gotze.. this way our attack would have been either the same or better than last season. Our midfield would largely be the same and our defense the same. Even the trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez took time to Gel. We have to be very patient this season.
