I'm assuming we'll sign Siqueira for 10M and Draxler for 30M to close the mercato, plus selling Llorente for around 10M and loaning Isla out for peanuts. Rugani, Gabbiadini, Sturaro operations made last season.

So having spent 60M, we are definitely one of the teams that spended most in the world again.

Llorente >>> Mandzukic

All in all, 60M were spent. Squad is much younger, has one more useful piece than last year, general depth is much much better. Dybala is a good replacement for Tevez, even though a gamble (but a fairly safe one). Draxler the biggest gamble, his performance and adaptation will be season/future defining, in view of Vidal's loss.
My biggest criticism is spending 18M on Zaza, who will be a 4th or 5th striker, instead of using it on a better LB or on a world class AM. But in general it's some sort of revolution and a good mercato.
Expected starting team:
Buffon - Licht, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra - Marchisio, Khedira, Pogba - Draxler/Dybala - Morata, Mandzukic
bench: Neto - Caceres, Barzagli, Rugani, Siqueira - Sturaro, Asamoah, Pereyra - Draxler/Dybala - Zaza, Coman (+ Padoin)
Bench looks amazing.
I see a few starting positions to be fought over:
LB - Evra x Siqueira
CM - Khedira x Pereyra x Asamoah
AM - Dybala x Draxler
Forward - Mandzukic x Dybala/Draxler
Looks exciting, even though it's yet to be seen if Dybala and Draxler can be considered suitable for AM and if Draxler will succeed - he has a lot of yellow flags pointing a considerable risk of flopping.

Yes we reduce the age
Yes we have overall better players BUT if you look at starting 11 then - Pirlo Vidal Tevez -> Khedira Draxler* Dybala
Say whatever you want but Dybala is still unproven! and with Vidal gone and Pirlo gone its too much of a risk not signing a high profile player who can be a savior
We should definitely go for Goetze or Reus
Draxler will be good but he is not ready yet!
Too much inexperience!
I hope I`m wrong but I really think we will be disappointed with this season!
As for the scudetto - We are still favorites but dont expect a 10+ points gap I see Roma and Napoli giving a fight as well as Inter getting up there
I expect us to win the scudetto with Roma 4 pts lower in 2nd and Napoli a 1pt behind Roma
As for the CL knockouts at best maybe not even that!
As much as I hate to say this we should think about Ibra as a short term savior if we cant find anyone who can carry this team

Then Pogba got injured, Pirlo returned and we were quite a bit less.
I dont know how big the rock was you have to be under, to miss all of the world complain that Pirlo is a liability and should be benched.
Dortmund has rejected plenty of EPL teams. 60mil probably wont even be enough. And IF Dortmund would accept a price we offer, you can be dead sure that there are 4 teams who will gladly offer that and more.
