Buy players to increase shirt sales?
I do not think that ways suits for juventus.
First, we have less ( far far away ) fans than madrid, bayern or barcelona.
Madrid can get way their money back because the have many fans to buy their jersey.

Second, isco/oscar is not ronaldo.
Isco/oscar is not even bigger name than modric, fabregas etc.

Shirt sales / marketing is not easy as buying big name.
It will need long time to increase commercial side.

Healthy and consistent Ozil is world class player but how long can he stay fit and consistent :) is another question.

The quality is there thou when he is healthy
Just making Sure, as a pure playmaker he is one of the best in the world. His lack of defensive workrate would work well in our side with an increbily hard working midfield in place.

I'm not saying we're doing bad but we're like in a limbo good in Italy and average or below in Europe except last season.
Now to truly become a world wide club like Chelsea,United,Real,Barca,Bayern and PSG we need to bring in players that can make our shirts sales increase.
That means higher profits and profitable sponsors plus a greater team that every year compete to win the champions league.
That's why bringing Zaza,Mandzukic and so on isn't good for the business. Rather take 2 world class and recognized players. Specially now considering our great CL run.
That's why i think we'll grow but not so much continuing like that.

WE NEED TO STEP UP OUR BUSINESS
You realize we have (to this point) held onto one of the most marketable young players in the world, right? We have priced many teams out of buying him and if they met our valuation we would have the money for a few of your "shirt sellers"

To get into Europe's elite we need to make it far in the CL consistently & as ridiculous as it sounds we need to thrash at least 2 British teams every year plus 1 of Barca, Real, Bayern or PSG. Ultimately the harder sure route would be to win back to back CL's.

I dont think it takes long at all to increase marketability and grow the commercial side of things. Look at Chelsea! There club is only like 10 years old and they have become one of the more popular teams in the world just after a few years of success. So if we keep doing well in the CL we will have one of the biggest fan bases along with Madrid, United, Munich and Barca.

Our international fanbase is much bigger than Bayern actually.
Really? Thats awesome! Just need to surpass the rest. Honestly it is strange for us to not be bigger given Juve are the Italian team with the most success and the other successful teams in the other big leagues are all huge commercially. Our goal should be to be among United and Madrid overall.

So to do that we just have to continue the recent success.

So much bullshit in one post...let's discuss

I'm not saying we're doing bad but we're like in a limbo good in Italy and average or below in Europe except last season.
We have the fourth best squad in Europe, and we have just made the final of the fucking CL a month ago. We've pretty much rejuvenated our team, and strengthened in every position...we are possibly lacking an AM at the moment. But on a whole, our squad is clearly stronger now than i was at the end of last season.

Now to truly become a world wide club like Chelsea,United,Real,Barca,Bayern and PSG we need to bring in players that can make our shirts sales increase.
No, we shouldnt buy players just for shirt sales. We should buy players that will fit into our system to help us win football matches/trophies. ROFL at comparing a pathetic band of mercenaries like PSG to us...all of those other clubs you mentioned have spending power 2-3 times greater than us and offer these players wages we cannot come close to. Anyway, besides maybe Barca/Madrid do you think any of those clubs sign players just to sell jerseys?

That's why bringing Zaza,Mandzukic and so on isn't good for the business. Rather take 2 world class and recognized players. Specially now considering our great CL run.
So you care more about the players name than you do about his abilities. Zaza is a direct replacement for Matri, a 5th choice striker who is part of the NT set-up and will be a solid and dependable player whenever he will be called upon...why you only mention him when we have also signed 32M Paulo Dybala (wanted by a few top European clubs), a player with immense potential and skill....as for Mario Mandzukic, he is one of the best CF in Europe who has won more than any of our other current players (besides Morata). He is a massive upgrade over Llorente. What 2 world class players do you suggest we sign, that we can actually afford and will agree to join us...curious.

WE NEED TO STEP UP OUR BUSINESS
We have been, every year since Marotta/Paratici have taken charge. Our progress is there for all to see (Scudetti, Supercups, Coppa Italia, CL final)...but somehow it isn't good enough to impatient "fans" such as yourself.

That is absolutely true. As I am one of the mods on Lithuanian juventus fb page, I saw an increase of 15% in likes after we beat real. That's so true what you are saying

I'm a fan as well but let's not be biased. We're not the fourth team in Europe. Yes we had an awesome season but looking at us in the past years we always struggled.
I woudn't dare to put us in the best four for the years to come. I'd say we can be in the best 8 year in year out. Yes that's sound more realistic.

Again not saying we should buy only players who can make us sell some shirts. Just saying we should look at who is the best in what we need and pursue that route = Something we need + something world wide renowned.
That way you gain quality and as well you have a return in terms of money cause their shirts would sell well compared to .... Sneijder? Praett? Mkhytarian?
I for once i'd like a world lvl sign!

I do care about names cause usually when your name is big and known means you're a good player as well! Now it might happen to pull a Lewandosky from time to time like what happened for Borussia but not everytime look at Immobile.
About Zaza you freaking said it!!!! Replacement for Matri our fifth striker and we had to cash out for 18m!!!! While for the fifth striker we could have gone for a cheap choice. Seeing how much Coman our fifth striker last year played.
I'm asking why instead of Zaza and Mandzukic (combined fee of 38-39m) we didn't go for the awesome AM we needed? with that kind of money you might steal players like Oscar or Goetze and so on.

I'm not impatient mate it's just that i'd like to win a cup final from time to time.... and not one every 4.
My opinion is that we're packed with depth and quality and since last summer we should have brought it ONE IMPORTANT SIGN per year to strenghten our starting eleven but now we have spent 32(Dybala)+19(Mandzukic)+18(Zaza) and 2 of them will be benchers considering that we are looking for a AM and play with 4-3-1-2. I would have understood if we were going to switch to 4-3-3 and Mandzukic/Zaza as starter CF with the likes of Coman,Dybala and Morata on the flanks.
But i can't simply bring myself to understand why we wasted so much on another striker like Zaza!
To me he is a common striker nothing worth of mention i would have prefered Berardi instead of him.

Lavezzi's agent "He wants to return to Italy, he's always thinking of Serie A. Juve? They haven't come forward & asked about Lavezzi."

Lavezzi's agent "He may leave PSG after his contract expires in 2016. We'll consider offers from big clubs & Juve is definitely 1 of those."
