I think the chronological order is important to be honest. Back then Khedira was not a mistake after selling Vidal and settling for Sami it became a mistake, because even then that mistake could have been repaied.

The mistakes we did in my opinion rank in this order
1- Selling Vidal in the manner we did
2- The lack of a proper plan after a decent cash flow from Vidal
3- Buying Zaza
4- Believing that Khedira is a suitable replacement for Vidal
5- Donating Llorente a player with a contract and a value is not charity donations
6- Loaning Coman out the same way Udinese loans out its players.

as there has been a lot of movement this mercato so i tried to somehow fit it together. some things are quite obvious, others are very debateable.
am i missing something/would you change something?

Storari -> Neto
Ogbonna -> Rugani
Isla (now probly Coman ^^) -> Cuadrado
Vidal -> Alex Sandro (Asamoah in MF)
Pirlo -> Khedira (moving Marchisio to the middle)
Tevez -> Dybala
Llorente -> Mandzukic
Matri -> Zaza

Transfer season is like Christmas when you where a child. You get the presents that you get really excited about (Dybala, Sandro), the nice present (Mand, Neto, Cuadrado, Rugani), the presents you dont really want buy probably need (Khedira), the shitty presents, that you try to exchange with your friends as soon as the guests has gone (Zaza). This Christmas is a little different though your parents make you give away sine of your favorite toys (Tevez, Vidal), sine of your brand new toy that has the potential to be your favorite(Coman) and some of your old toys that you dont really need but want to keep for sentimental reasons (Pirlo, Pepe, Storari. In return your parants promise to buy you that presents that you just must have (Goetze, Draxler) and guess what they dont fucking deliver.

for the most part it´s a fitting comparison but it´s more like a 5 day christmas where you get very nice presents on the days 1-4 but miss out on one on day 5, which makes you want to burn your fucking parents.

Sure dude, but this you assuming that when we signed Khedira we had no idea that we were going to be selling Vidal. I'm not sure I am in complete agreement with that. I feel the club already knew all with the player that they intended on selling him, and that's why signed Sami on the salary they did, even before the Vidal sale was made. I will be pretty speechless if we are left clutching at the likes of Lamela for a CAM. A clear panic fourth or fifth choice panic buy.
