Death by hanging usually kills you instantly as you break your neck.

Yet in some cases the "victim" chokes to death rather than break his neck. And strangely thats very common in the Arab world

No no. Here in Iran they use hanging for executing people and we had many cases in which the man stayed alive while being up there and they had to redo the process for more times. God, those were beyond horrible.

No it's not, firing squad is also there but it depends on the court to decide which mean.

Sad thing is that they use the same shit for every kind of murderer at any age. I remember a boy who had killed his friend in a fight at the age of 15 and they executed him in the same way.
