They dis already yesterday. RobinHood blocked alle those fucking stats. Lol 37.000.000 shares shorted out of 52.000.000 shares literally free money above 9$
I don't know much about shorting, why would this be a sure thing? It's not like GameStop for example, where there are more being shorted than actually exist.
Well, you could buy in the money calls with a 15 strike for next week expiry, but be prepared to lose. Honestly, shares might be the better play since options can be tricky. But biggest payout would potentially be the latter.

Already up 33% on my AMC call. Looks like more buyers moving in, or short covering.

Hedgefunds borrowed 37.000.000 shares (78% of Total shares). Their short options Will be closed at the end of the Day. So they have to cover 37.000.000 next mondag. So many shares aren't available so they have to pay the market price at first (22%) and then outbuy the other shares (56%). It meand that they need to buy shares for at least 15 dollars a share and they shorted dit 3/4/8 and 9 dollars. The price Will Go ik heavily. In a simple market this makes total sense. You have a bunch of people short the stock but they have to buy it back above $9. If the only orders that exist are at 1000, they have to by them back at that price. But this is very simplistic and probably won't be this easy.
