On the pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport , returns to talk about the interest of Juventus for Stevan Jovetic. The attacker purple tops the list of preferences of Marotta and Conte, however, Fiorentina, in the words of the owner Della Valle, has repeatedly reaffirmed the Non-transferability of the jewel of Montenegro. The contract renewed last season by Jovetic is a sort of gentlemen's agreement, for which Jovetic can leave 30 million. Figure that Juventus are not willing to pay, as opposed to Manchester City in the coming days will launch the assault on the talent purple.

The last part of the report is definitely plausible.

Jovetic off the market, and...'

“Stevan Jovetic is off the market and Fiorentina will sign a new striker,” confirmed director of sport Daniele Prade ahead of today’s season debut.

The Serie A campaign kicks off at 17.00 UK time with Fiorentina-Udinese, click here for a match preview.

“We start the new season, we’re hungry and nervous, but ready. It is a great challenge after an intense summer in which we changed a lot,” Prade told TGR Rai Toscana.

“Our President set the foundations for this new team by being very clear on Jovetic – he is off the market. He will not be sold.”

The Montenegro international is expected to wear the captain’s armband today and was the subject of reported €25m offers from Juventus and Chelsea.

New arrivals in the Viola jersey include Alberto Aquilani, David Pizarro, Borja Valero, Mounir El Hamdaoui and Emiliano Viviano.

“We have built an entertaining side that plays good football and wants to win over the fans in Florence. This is a demanding public that wants to see its team play and work hard.

“We cannot be among the big clubs yet, as we are coming off two negative campaigns, but we do want to get back in there. This is our reconstruction year.”

Well we made an offer cash + Quag, but Quagliarella rejected the move to Fiorentina. I don't see us paying ~30 m € for a player. If Quag doesn't change his mind, Jovetić won't come.

Jovetic  Ever since his Partizan days I kept saying we should sign him. And we still fucking should, I don't care what others say, we need him.
