im pretty sure none of them is interested to leave... so they will have to sit down a talk if the deal becomes a reality.

Aboout who should be leaving.... i think the most natural choice would be quags....as we will end without a natural striker if we sell matri.

And if we sign jovetic but end without funds for any other big bomb striker.... we still can count on matri...which is no cavani... but the guy is far from being an amauri or a borrielo. He was very consistant before the borrielo saga started...and last year he was one of the few brightlights of that disaster.

Im pretty sure that with good service and a good wake up call, we can count on Matri again, if we fail to sign someone that is.

My only concern is that if we sell him...we will end with a lot of SS players and we will have to use a false 9 , or start to use players out of position... (like vucinic or jovetic as a pure striker). Maybe it can work... but maybe not.

This. Or perhaps we can count on Destro who we can sign if we involve Matri in a deal for Jovetic.

I am also not amused by the idea of Jovetic as a CF.
Me neither.

But in reality he would be given the Del Piero role with Vicinic + one other out and out striker up front to feed of Giovinco and Jovetic.

The Isla signing is there for the versatility factor. Defensive when we are protecting a 2 - 0 lead say at the San Siro or a CL match against Chelsea.

He hasn't the technique you'd normally see in that spot but neither does Pepedinho and he sort of did alright. I also think Conte prefers a defensively sound winger in his 4-3-3 and Isla would most certainly provide that.

I just read 15M + Matri + Pazienza for Jovetic.

That would be a great deal for them IMO. You're getting a good striker, a decent midfielder and 15M cash.
