If we sign Jovetic our LW will be stacked. One of them will be play in the centre IMO. If Jovetic comes, we've successfully taken the best LWs in Italy. Vucinic, Giovinco and Jovetic. :D

Jovetic is a great player who I`d like to see here but given our current situation it is more crucial for us to sign a Van Persie/Cavani type of player than Jovetic
If we sign him it means no playing time for Giovinco which means selling him which means we could still sign the top striker
Jovetic Dzeko/Cavani/RVP Vucinic 4-3-3 or Vucinic wide with Jovetic partnering Dzeko/Cavani/RVP. Not bad at all

I love JoJo. But I think we are overrating him here a little bit. He's like a more consistent, talented version of Vucinic which is great but he's not the best player our money can buy this transfer window. Considering our needs and circumstances. I would eater Falcao, Cavani, RvP and even Suarez (similar position to JoJo) ahead of him in terms of the impact they will have with us. Falcao would just tear shit up here in a way that's not even funny. I think a lot of us here underrate Suarez's ability to turn a game on it's head.

Jojo > Suarez.

I can't think of an SS that i'd rather have, actually.

people keep on saying we need a cf, but do we really?
these days you can even win the Euro without a striker
the main strength last season was our midfield who were constantly moving and popping up in front of goal
our forwards regularly drifted wide to give them space, that is the main reason why none of them scored, well that and the fact they weren't quality
now I don't see that changing, our strength will still be the movement in midfield while our forward will go wide so I really don't see any problem in buying Jojo
just look at the targetted forward, Van Persie can play on the flank, same for Suarez and even Cavani regularly drift wide at Napoli
that's also the reason why I don't see Dzeko coming here

can vuci play as CF if we need him too?

jojo - vuci - gio
He can but he is much better as a ss
Why should we play players out of position and not get the most of them instead of going for players fit for their positions
Jojo-Dzeko/RVP/Cavani-Vucinic would do much much better

ffs liverpool are rebuilding..we wont be able to sign him..he is a central figure in the new manager's project..unless they flop again next year, there's no chance we'd be able to sign him..
