He's not. I have no idea how did you come up with that.
Well, according to transfermarkt he spent 66 days out injured in the 2011-12 season. In 2010-11 obviously he had his big cruciate ligament injury which put him out for about 8-9 months.

Before that he was fine, but often players who come back from massive ligament injuries will pick up troublesome strains for the next couple of years at least.

No problem. What other objections do you have?
Pirlo next year might be his last on this level, we need to make use of that to win the UCL and i highly doubt we can with our current inability to score that's why we need a proven scorer ideally with Italian and European experience.

I prefer Cavani however I'd setlle for RVP despite his injury problems and the fact that he is unproven in Italy simply because i trust Conte and i know RVP got the killer touch we need plus the euro experience, Jovetic lack the killer touch and the experience and as i said we don't have space for experiments with Pirlo's age not to mention that we will spend a lot next summer on replacing him or changing the squad structure.

We should only get Jojo if he's purchased to play as LW instead of Vucinic, playing him as RW/CF is waste of his talent.
i think he has it in him to be one of the best CF's in the game. He's young and hasn't played that position often, but he does have killer instinct, great technique, strong physique and he is amazing at reading the game.

Yeah, pretty much this, getting Jojo right now doesn't make sense, A CF should be our priority and Jojo ain't one and he sucked hard last year when he was used as one with Fiorentina.
You mean in the period where he scored 5 goals in 6 matches? ( can't precisely remember the facts, but iirc his goal scoring and assisting exploded during that period, when Gila was out)

I love Jojo, second only to Aguero for the players that i think can wear out #10, but we shouldn't take the risk and play him out of position, he's at his best playing as SS, IMHO we should het a CF this year and make Jojo our star signing next year, and he get to replace Vucinic.

Pirlo next year might be his last on this level
It surprises me when people say this. In my opinion he plays with such a languid style he could play for another 2-3 years at a similar level, with his general contribution gradually declining, as long as he keeps having players in midfield to do his defensive work. Pirlo does run a lot more than people give him credit for, but he does it at his own pace.

Good point. But Aguero was pretty bad in Athl Madrid when he played as the CF, then he tore shit up in Man City in that very position. Henry wasn't considered a top CF for the early part of his career either, but look how that turned out. I just think that Jojo has all the characteristics which are important to become a good CF.

Watch very closely what happens over the next 48/72 hours with some decisive trading from Marotta/Conte.

There is clearly a real need to finalise the mercato ASAP in order for Conte to develop the revised squad in the pre season games that start in just over three weeks time.

With six new players already in the mix, expect to see 2 PX + cash deals with two of our guys going to Fio with perhaps one going to Genoa.

This is why Marotta was brought in. This is his forte. With Conte still at the helm pending the betting scandal outcome, we are an outstanding proposition to any Serie A players, as opposed to Van Persie, who is very likely to take his time.

Jovetic and Destro are the answers.

Very exciting time ahead over the next 7 days methinks.

Aguero is built like a tank, his physics maybe deceiving but he's very strong, and he always played as CF in ATM, the preception that Forlan was the CF is wrong, Forlan was the one dropping deep and setting up the attacks and plus Aguero is a great finisher, And as much as i love Jojo i don't think he's at that level yet, i see him as similar to Ale, not as good but similar playing styles, and we all know that Ale can't play as lone striker.

How right you are!

The critical thing though is that sometime during the next 2 seasons we acquire his EVENTUAL replacement to work alongside him on the training field and in competitive football. Verratti would have suited this strategy right down to the ground. Alas it was not to be.

in the meantime, Andrea Pirlo will be the key to our attacking fluidity and effectiveness.

In the meantime Destro and JoJo are absolutely vital to push us on to the next level.
