Where is JoJo gonna play in a 3-5-2? Vucinic-JoJo? Really? Then we are gonna score soooo many goals next season! ..

Come on guys!
I wrote that I cant see them playing together in this formation since we need a striker and both are ss

As for his ability I think that right now if theres one player that reminds a bit of the great DP its him

One thing is for sure, we need a fantasista.
It was proved last season that an old del piero still had more magic in his legs than all of our strikers. Right now we have just “ok” strikers, but we need someone with flair and that something the top wc players have.
Jovetic seems to be at the very least, a very good prospect for that role.

His injuries are the only concern

Vucinic - Jovetic as frontline? I doubt it.. But on the other hand.. If Messi can score as "CF" for Barca then why shouldn't Jovetic for us? He is more of a goalscorer then a provider. If you look at his statistics he has scored far more goals then assists.

27 games. 14 goals. 3 assists. 120 shots.

That's more of a go getter then go setter...

Buffon
Licht-Barz-Chiellini-Kolarov
Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio
Jovetic-Dzeko-Vucinic

Shit balls.

Jovetic & Mirko would be drifting from side to side all game, not necessarily limited to the side they are shown on.

Our front line movement would be insane.

:edit: Oh, silly me. It wouldn't be because Dzeko is a slow, lazy, predictable and static striker.

Weak as shit left side defensively.
Have faith in Kaiser Conte, JJ.

When we need muscle...we have our token black guy ready to slap some bitches around. We are covered.

I like him but it would be better to keep Gio and spend our money on a WC finsher and a great winger. If we sign Jo or even suarez I still think we need a striker.

Using Gio could bring his price down A LOT! We would be better off spending a little bit more for the WC finisher if we can manage to land Jovetic.

Bite the bullet with this Marotta.

You want Balkan War III for the ball? Jesus...
Shit would be crazy.

Kolarov screaming up from behind with a laser guided ICBM missle from 30 yards out when needed.

Hell.Yes.

Weak as $#@! left side defensively.
How is the left side different from the one this season? Kolarov is better then PDC defensively and Marchisio + Vucinic is the same.. ? We're talking about the 4-3-3 not the 3-5-2. The defensive part is all the same whether you change the right side or not?

With those three on the left, Juve would be putting so much pressure on the opposition's right side, that they wouldn't have a chance to breathe.

I don't understand why we are redeeming Gio if we are after Jo, might as well sell outright, unless he's coming here to go to Florence. Jovetic > Gio no doubt, but I feel like we'd be depriving ourselves big time if we let go off Matri. A lot of people on the boards seem to undermine the importance of players like Matri and Quags, without considering the trials a CL season would bring. They are so much better than the likes of Amuroso, Kovacevic and even Inzaghi, the kind of bench strength we had back in the day. These guys are starter quality for the Serie a. And that's what will make a difference between a title winning run, and running out of steam on the home stretch of the next campaign.

If we are going after JoJo, it means we surely will let go Gio, rumour's have it he could be used in our bid for a CF. We can't be keeping everyone if we want to improve our quality, its not like we are ManCity where we can sign quality forwards and keep the rest in team. We do not have that kind of money to go for better forwards and keep the current one on board. And how much is Matri willing to sit on the bench, if we do sign another CF. He would be the third choice after new CF and Quag.
If we can sign Isla and bench Lich after the season he had, I don't see any problem why we cant buy JoJo and bench Vuci if it is needed.

We could get Gio and do a lot with him in terms of transfer
We could use him for Jovetic RVP Torres (if he wants to leave and if we are intrested) maybe even Cavani
BTW I probably get bashed for this but If Inter want Giovinco so much an exchange for Sneijder wouldnt be a bad thing... (not going to happen for many reasons though...)

And there is also the thing that we might linked to Jovetic in order to lower Parma`s demands
