I vomited because your post was disgusting, like the person you seem to be. How can City destroy our mercato when we have already solved our problem upfront more than we could ever think of?
Meh, I'm starting to believe your disgust for Jovetic has probably something to do with where he's from. We still have an issue upfront, it has only been solved half way. United has Rooney, Van Persie, Hernandez and Welbeck. If they only had Van Persie and average forwards aside from him, no one could say United don't have a quality problem in their forward line.

Hell, in our best years we had Del Piero, Trez, Mutu and Ibra. When it was only Del Piero and Trez and they weren't producing, we had no one to pick up the slack. Same thing here.

He's a targetman, without creativity around him he's useless, he'll never dribble a couple of players and then put a killer pass.

So again we only have one guy capable of creating, unless we bang in crosses hoping Llorente will do something.

Let me ask you a question, with the addition of Tevez along with Vucinic, do you think that the creativity aspect of this squad is sufficient now?

But we also need those kind of players. Llorente apart from that can create for his teammates and is rather good at it. He also holds up the ball well and bring others into play.
And I disagree we lack creativity. Having Vucinic as backup is more than enough.

What does your first sentence mean?

Your post is missing context though. When we had the likes of DP, Trez, Ibra, Mutu and Zalayeta upfront, we had a complete squad backing them. At the moment, we don't. If we'll sign Zuniga/Kolarov/Coentrao, then I wouldn't mind if we signed him, for whatever price that may be.

I'm just saying, the amount of disgust you have for a player is a little weird to be only about his footballing qualities.

I honestly don't see why we need Kolarov or Coentrao (what's special about Zuniga?), Asamoah performs excellent in that side and is rarely if ever overtaken on that side and has skill to hold on the ball and move the play forward.

On the other hand, if Tevez isn't playing well, not finding spaces or simply tired, we are fucked against quality teams. Vucinic just isn't reliable and doesn't have enough quality. Jovetic is an exciting prospect and finding a player like him available that really wants to play for Juventus is not that easy.

Let me put it to you this way.

We have a system where we need to have offensive threat coming from both our wings. Even though Asamoah is a wall defensively, offensively he's nothing but close to average, and we should definitely have someone with better offensive characteristics when we face smaller teams who pack their back with a lot of defenders when facing us.

All of Zuniga, Kolarov and Coentrao fall under that category, with the latter being the obvious best option of the bunch, but obviously the most expensive too.

Jovetic would be a luxury at this point, not a need. We would do better for ourselves if we invest that money on Coentrao rather than him. If we could afford both, then fine, but we obviously don't.

And btw, I dislike every thing that tends to get overrated by people here.

Are you always this condescending? LOL, it's the internet, of course you are. Asamoah is very good in offense and in our 3-5-2 system, defensive duties are of a lot of importance. He performs well enough offensively and awesome in defense, we are covered there. Of course if Kolarov or Coentrao come that'd be great, but when you only have one good and reliable creative outlet, we really should invest there instead.

In all, I agree that Jovetic would have been a fantastic signing. However, Zuniga is a pretty good player, in my opinion. I picked him out in Napoli's defense early on, and every time I watch them he plays very well and is quite fast and technical. That's what's special about him. Him and Cuadrado are the best wingbacks in Serie A. Ours are up there too, but they are the best. He may be no Marcelo, but he's very good and doesn't really have off days where he shuts off and just exists on the pitch.

And you underestimate Vucinic. He's no paragon of athleticism, but he has plenty of quality.

But in all, I agree that Jovetic would have been a f

Was Turin big enough for Trezeguet, Del Pero and Ibra?
I don't remember that. I had to check the rosters from back then and it seems like Ibra left Juve after having quite a weak season (2005-06: 7 goals). I am guessing he went to Inter for money, orelse(and) he was unhappy playing second/third fiddle behind Del Piero(12 goals) and Trézéguet (23 goals)?

No, he left because he didn't want to play in Serie B. He was pretty vocal about it.
