I'm displeased about this, don't get me wrong, but it's over.

At least Klin is happy, and this makes me happy.
Thanks Fint.

Honestly, a part of me wanted us to sign him for Sergio. I know it's hard to believe, but it's the truth. :D

Thank you. I appreciate that.

You know full well how I feel about him as a player, without, hopefully, overrating him to where that was the reason for your dislike of him.

This just really makes me ill. I've never wanted a player here as badly as Jovetic. I just see it in him. I see the natural progression from Roby to Alex to him. I saw it 4 years ago, and he's still only 23 years old. The only one who comes close in regards to my feelings about a transfer target was Ibra, and that basically came out of nowhere on the last day of the window.

Hopefully he'll do bad for City and we could snatch him up when he's 25 years old. ;)

Common did you really think we would sign another forward after tevez and llorente? My point was that id still take tevez over jovetic
My point is that Juve have always had an eye towards the future, which is exactly what Jovetic would have been. And correct me if I'm wrong, but they spent a total of 9M on the striker position. I would be more than inclined to agree with you if you put a 3 in front of that 9 for Tevez and Llorente, but they didn't.

Those 4 players were purchased with an eye towards the future. There isn't any young player that Juve have right now or with the exception of Tevez, that are anywhere near as good as Jovetic on their current roster. But how many seasons can we expect form Tevez, realistically?

30M for Jovetic is seriously quite idiotic knowing what Marotta could likely put together for that money if we just remain patient.

I know what you are saying, and I've said all along that 30 million is too high for him, but its circumstance that because he's a striker, who is still just 23, that the price is going to be what it is.

I'm not upset that Marotta won't pay the 30 million. I don't want him to. I'm just upset that my favorite Non-Juve player won't be coming here, and it just bothers me a lot more than it should, I guess.

But then that means that he would have failed, and I don't want him to fail. :sigh:

Well it was always said that we would have to sell in order to raise funds for big fee signings. Jojo may have been the future but there are the likes of zaza and berardi for the future too
