lol, if he succeeds that's never going to happen. Perhaps we can get Van Persie when he's 33, lol.
Yeah, we were very lucky that Llorente was in the situation he was and that City was willing to let go of Tevez for that little money. Otherwise we probably would have renewed Anelka, lol.
That might be the case, but if they succeed and want to leave, clubs with actual resources like Chelsea, Barca, Madrid or PSG will snap them up. We will deal with Anelkas and Bendtners for a long time if there's no bargains around.

Marotta just said they've given up on Jovetic a long time ago, when they signed Tevez. According to him, with Tevez and Llorente they've solved the problem, so no need for Jovetic.

fair enough

Surely that's enough evidence to persuade even the sternest optimist that this deal ain't happening
Given that there's an agreement in place with the player and his entourage, I do think they'll give us some leeway on the deal IF we commit to paying the clause or raising cash. Im going with a hunch that if city don't announce JoJo over the weekend, then it could be coz another Juve bid is in the works.

Well in that case he hasn't agreed to join them yet. Higuain was supposed to be in Arsenal, Cavani in Chelsea and Thiago in United if you believed these reliable british sources. Fuck shitty, I won't believe it until I see him in their jersey.

The Cusp, that may be so, but still this feels more like a giant bluff than anything else. I know Di Marzio is more than God here, but for me, that doesn't change much.

That's what I've been saying. Until there is a photo of him in City's jersey I won't believe rumors.
