Given that there's an agreement in place with the player and his entourage, I do think they'll give us some leeway on the deal IF we commit to paying the clause or raising cash. There's nothing to suggest it will happen, as things stand.

Fiorentina would rather send him on a free loan to Siena than sell him to us for anything less than €30m. We aren't going to pay that, but City have proven they would. They'd pay €30m just to have a look at Man Utd's trophy cabinet.

Unless Jovetic goes on a mental blocking spree and causes a lot of trouble at Fiorentina he isn't coming here.

Could be, which is why the Tevez deal was bittersweet. Yes, we luckily got a great player for a season, or 2 maybe if we are lucky. The problem is, there's only great forward in our lineup, and in 1 or 2 years time we'll again be looking in the end of contract and unwanted players bin scrounging for what we can find again.A hobbo rarely but sometimes finds half of an steak, but most of the times he'll find a half vomited taco. That's why I'm down on this deal not happening.
