If that is true, that Fiorentina are insisting on 30 million for him, then as much as it pains me to type this (and it does hurt, as I dislocated two fingers yesterday installing one of my air conditioners) then

sigh.............

I say pass on him

If we have the money, I'd say pay the 30M.

I mean..wtf..when are we ever going to use this money? Buy either Jovetic or Higuain for 30M, and get it over with. When it comes to top-class attackers we have to stop trying to be bargain hunters every summer

While I agree to that in general, 30M for Jovetic is too much if we are talking a straight cash deal. On the other hand if Quag is valued at 12M for such a swap - its another matter altogether.
I would go for Muriel and leave 30M JoJo to Fiorentina. We have to sell some strikers though and that doesn't seem to be happening.

Sky Sport reveals that today is the day Juventus meet with Fiorentina in the deal for Stevan Jovetic. La Viola want alot of cash, but Juventus will try lowering the demands with a cash + player offer. (Marrone, Matri, or Quagliarella).

Marotta: "We haven't contacted Fiorentina for Jovetic. But we have a good relationship with them."

No man, that is what a Secco would do. Think about it.

You have to lower that asking price somehow. Like every good business man does.

Juventus didn't meet Fiorentina.

Juve sent Jovetic's agent to talk to Fiorentina on their behalf.

according to some members here, we are going to be like bilan and merda if we done something like that, and if they were in charge of the club, they don't want to sell litch or marchisio or vidal to raise some funds either; and then according to them, we should praise marotta too and not to give conte too much credits on the club success, instead we should hail marotta for being the co-operator with conte.

oh...

The meeting has happened between Jovetic's agent and Fiorentina. Fiorentina demand cash only, and do not want players.

Hmmm...if that is true, then we either pass on Jovetic and get Higuain or get Jovetic and say goodbye to Higuain.

If we can't use players in exchange with the Viola, don't think we have the money to pay cash for both players.

This one could take a while.

May well come down to whether Jovetic is prepared to stick to his guns and demand the move to Juve or if he'll back down and accept a move abroad, which Fiorentina would obviously prefer.

That's a pretty generous offer.

Whether Fiorentina really want Quagliarella is another matter, though.
I don't see why they would want him to be honest. I have a feeling, like Udinese/Palermo, their scouting won't have a problem finding the next "jovetic/toni". I mean, with 30m cash, they could quite easily invest heavily in that department to compensate for losing Jovetic and quite probably find someone that is already equal to Quag with lower wages.
