It is, and why is that odd? Muriel is a few years younger and played like 10 games less than Jovetic and still scored 11 goals to Jovetic's 13.

Jovetic will develop when he joins Juve. I imagine his development has slowed down in Florenze and it feels like he pushes for this move because he is aware of just that. Jovetic looks at his possible destinations and probably choose Juve because he knows he will develop as a player here.. I dont think he joins us because of the probability of another scudetto next season, I think he's got his development of talent in mind..

I would say injuries hampered his progress, Viola have made him stronger physically, tactically and given him exposure that he would have never gotten at Juve.

he is ready to make the jump to the highest level now.

He's reached his limit there with them. They won't be more than a team who hopes to qualify for the CL or even the Europa League every season, and that's pretty much it. The kid seems ambitious and he surely can't advance any further in his career by staying at the purple rats.

He can scale new heights with Juve - win important silverware, earn more money, achieve worldwide recognition and play against top class opposition in the CL on a regular basis. As well as being a part of one of the biggest football clubs in the world.

Ahh hope he signs. Would be lovely to see him blossom and realise his full potential with us. He could be a 10+ season player in our colours if all goes to plan
