I'd be worried if it's true, not because I thought we could land both but for tactical reasons it doesn't make sense. One is an SS the other a CF, shouldn't the board and Conte have clear ideas of what they want and not just a "top player"?

agree about tactical reasons, it was always more of a dream scenario and good opportunities.

but how much of a say does Elkann have in club decision? don't think its too much, he's just giving his comments IMO, not dictating policy.

if its true that Conte demanded 2 top strikers - 1 being a fox in the box which makes sense to me, then why are we chasing Jovetic? either because he meant 2 additional strikers to llorente, or the management have already failed to meet Conte's demands should they only sign Jovetic to compliment llorente

Yes,because of the cash+players deal for Jojo.
No one really thought we can pay 20-30 mil twice.
All the talk was about Higuain for 25mil.
and Jojo for 10mil+players(Quag,Marrone,Isla) deal.

Those both deals for sure posibble.
