I really like this kid and believe, at the right club, he'd do great things. I do agree with jem however that €30 million is a steep price. For that ammount of money you'd be getting someone who would be an immediate difference maker. Van Persie went for something around that price range if I'm not mistaken. If Juve triggered the release clause and Jojo came here I'd be elated. But we would'nt be getting fair value imo. €20-22 million is what I'd table max.

I'm in the same camp as bianconeri81 in wanting the board to blow cash on a definite game changer e.g Suarez, but in the same token I would'nt want Beppe spending money just for the sake of it alla Secco. Jovetic will eventually be worth his release clause, but at the moment I would'nt be jumping on triggering that clause just yet.

Maybe its because i havent seen that much of Jovetic, but i simply am NOT convinced that he is worth it from what i have seen. 30M is definitely too much for JoJo but that's the sort of prices you're looking at for top players these days. A lot has changed in the past decade or so in terms of competition where you're seeing stupid amounts splurged by the richer clubs in europe. That's cause alone for the high prices on players that don't necessarily merit them. Get used to it and pay up or don't buy these sorts of players (especially forwards).
