Arsenal :lol: :howler: They are staring another trophy less season right in the face, and might not even qualify for the CL next season, for the first time in like 17 seasons. It's definitely a great time to go there :howler:
I feel like most teams, papers, journalists don't like Juventus at all...any just about any country since our "reputation" is bad. No one is going to get excited about a big player coming here so I don't expect many articles in our favor anytime soon. Especially in Italy where people are so fucking biased towards their favorite teams.

The thing with Jovetic is that he is a long term player, more than others we have been linked with or who are available.

Also, numbers are one thing, but he's a potential game winner. He and Llorente could score 12-15 goals each. Well we have 3-4 strikers who could score 8-10 goals each or even more, given a good run in the team. The numbers add up the same, but being decisive in close games or when the chips are down is another matter.
I agree, and that's exactly why I don't want him right now. He's a long term option, but the squad we have right now is ready, it just needs that last piece of the puzzle, and I'm afraid Llorente won't be the right piece. We shouldn't worry about improving what's already good when we're one position away from having a complete squad.

@Jay

Conte said the same thing after the game on Saturday, that when we're in control sometimes we miss a player who can create something out of nowhere.

I suppose my point really is that if you are going to buy him then do it now before he is someone else's long term player.
Yep. You'd have Jovetic for 10 years. He's perfect for a long term investment.

So what would you then improve?

Exactly. What's €30m investment on someone who'll possibly be with us for 10 seasons. Or shall we continue year in year out buying mediocre krap with loans and co-ownerSHITs with the amount more or less doubling. Least we can focus on other areas with more patience.

30m that will give us a hand in maintaining CL status for the next 10 years, not to mention possibly giving us a winning streak in the scudetto each season.

Jovetic would make us such a better team that with all competitions we would be in (that he would help us regain & retain) would make us so much money of the 10 years span he could be here for.

30m now for 100+m worth of Champions League income, merchandising, and Serie A titles...you guys do the math, you see my point.

You can't use his injury history to refute his ability as a player. Every time he plays he plays very well - better than Sanchez in worse teams - and that is undeniable. A fit Jovetic in a good line up would be incredible and you know it.
We must have been watching different games then.

Liverpool was in a worse position yet Suarez went there.

I would love Cazorla here tho. He's so good.
