His agent wants it going officially into the contract so that if Juventus met the clause Fiorentina could do fuck all about it, at the moment there is just a gentlemens agreement which Fiorentina can abuse if they don't want to sell him to us.

Clearly if his agent is pushing for this he has a team ready to pay it. Whether that's us remains to be seen.
