Juventus & Fiorentina directors discuss Jovetic

After recent reports from Italy stated that Fiorentina were only willing to accept a €30m cash-bid for Stevan Jovetic, today's La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals otherwise.

According to the Milanese newspaper, directors Fabio Paratici & Eduardo Macia have been in contact to discuss the situation surrounding the Montenigrin's transfer to Juventus.

Furthermore, it's been reported that the topic of the discussion was to find out which Juventus players interest Fiorentina in order to help facilitate a cash + player deal, which is favored by the Bianconer side, and not so much from the Viola.

Juventus, through Paratici, have made it known that they are ready to include any one of Marrone, Gabbiadini, Isla or Giaccherini in a deal that would see Jovetic move to Torino.

We have to stop having long transfer sagas, Aguero lasted so long then it came of nothing, same with Dzeko and Krasic we got unfortunately. Marrotta and Agenlli have to grow a pair of balls and start getting the deals done so they dont last the whole summer and come of nothing and then we dont have time for an alternate.
I think we can play the long game with this as we have the player on our side in a way, this hasn't happened before. Jovetic wants to stay in Italy and were the only interested party, we also have other targets and this may help pushing through a transfer. When we know viola only have 1 option why not play the waiting game? No1 will pay the money they ask and if they do then that's fine because he really isn't worth 30m!

No new developments on this story.

I just hope we don't pay 30M for this walking injury. For once I hope Beppe's inability to close a deal comes into play.

He is not worth it, it's best we forget about him. We should concentrate on Higuain and if we want to be competitive in Europe on Tevez. If not Diamanti would be enough cover for the domestic competition.

Indeed. I think he is worht it, but around 20 mils or less plus a player.

Let them be, let them rejoice that they have us in their hands.

In the worst case scenario, we skip those 30 mils robbery and buy Higuain, which like it or not... is our most needed signing.

Best case scenario...Jovetic refuses offers and fiorentina crumbles to the pressure and sell him in a more reasonable offer.

i predict what will happen is fiorentina agree on a player plus cash deal, then in the last second the exchange player says no to fiorentina causing the deal to collapse.

i cant see it happening. this is marotta after all

Yeah, it will be Marotta's fault if that particular player rejects them... :sergio:

of course it would be. marotta should make sure the player is happy with move to fiorentina + the contract they would offer.

basically everyone should be on the same page and knows what is the offer.

throwing around half the subs (marrone, giach, isla gabbiadini, plus the rumored matri or quag) is tricky

it must some cultural thing, accountability seems to have a different meaning on that side of the ocean.

Haha this is funny shiit. I personally think Higuain is our primary target for starters. 30m€ is an utter joke if Viola think we're gonna offer. Marotta will grab them by their "short & curlies" & those rats know it. Stop wasting our time negotiating & surrender. I would willingly fvck this whole deal off if these muppets wanna play silly b0llocks with us in this whole Metcato. Higuain then Tevez.

So I can sit back and play Justin Timberlakes cry me a river tune in my briefs smoking a zoot. :spliff:
