the main thing is, we DON'T KNOW. Honestly, i'd prefer waiting for the winter transfer-window instead of buying the wrong one now. We don't know how we'll play, we don't know who will be in good shape and who not, and we don't know where we're lacking quality. I'd prefer closing the mercato with some money left, in order to invest in the winter-transfer-period for a quality player instead of buying some overpriced aquilani or so, and then end up with benching him, only to satisfy the tifosi

no I think Poulsen is like a cheese sandwich in a LS 430 and Xabi is a steak in a Bugatti Veyron but we needed a plate of lasagna in a Land Cruiser

There is nothing wrong with what Blanc said about Stankovic playing behind strikers, but there is so much wrong with the rest of the sentence.
Stankovic is a good MR but sucks as ML, he's really bad there. On the other hand we really have problems on the other side when Camo is injured. That's why i wonder why didn't he say that Stankovic can act as a cover for Camo but he said that he could be a cover for Nedved ?

Maybe he didn't want Stankovic to think that if he joins Juve he'll be a sub for Camo. Nedved is old and out of form so he can easily lose his place in the starting XI, while Camo's place is guaranteed.

But if Blanc really sees Stankovic as a cover for Nedved, then i'm disappointed.
