Giovinco is really good, I expect a lot from him but to say he'll take a first spot just from the first game is just absurd.
No, but surely he'll be knocking on the door for a starting spot by the time January comes around at least, if he plays good football.. There's nothing too complicated about it, if he plays then he'll get minutes and more specifically a starting spot, how long that takes is up to his performances and I wouldn't be suprised if we heavily rely on him early into the season... Although he'll be in Beijing at the start of the season

That's exactly what I meant, there is an IF in the way and that's why I am with signing Stankovic along with Alonso.

why we aint going to sign a left midfielder that actually is left footed.as far as i know stankovic and giovinco are right footed.so they wont be able to run down the left flank.they will only be able to come close to the middle to make some shoots like Nedved did.so i believe we should try to sigh a left footed left mid rather than schweinsteiger or stankovic or anyone else.

People say Giovinco is right footed but after watching him play i couldn't honestly tell because he is one of those rare players who are really ambidextrous, although he does do his free kicks with his right i've seen him whip in crosses with his left.. I get what your saying but I dont think being naturally left footed is all that important to a LM, as a right footed LM brings in other aspects to the game which can be just as good and it certainly wouldnt dictate transfer strategies

i have been trying for a while to understand your signature. it is a quote that is complimenting gentile followed by your opinion on how him and chiellini have a lot in common, right?
yep thats what i mean, the quote ends at ".... art form". The little bit i added on was just trying to point out that Chiellini is disproving this myth that they "don't build defenders like Gentile anymore" and that Chiellini is very similiar in the way they "make man marking an art form". I've just fucked up the words and it sounds confusing..

Gentile and Chiellini do share a lot of qualities, apart from Chiellini being left footed and Gentile being a righty they play in a style very similiar & IMO very reminiscent of what Juventus is all about

one uses quotes to prove the point

De Ceglie can play good as a left winger, because he knows how to push forward and cross.

Molinaro doesn't know how to cross, which is the most important thing for a winger. He would be more useless as winger than a left back.
anyway, both will be used 99,9% as LB.
have you ever seen De Ceglie on action?

i voted yes cause he is cheaper that VDV or Diego and he can play in many position in the midfield.he can add the missing creativity of last season and he is equally good to VDV and Diego imo.
