Btw, i'll check this Albanian guy because i doubt he's Albanian at all.

He speaks good serbo-croatian but it's strange how he used the word slaveni. That's the Croatian word for Slavs. An Albanian would use the Serbian word sloveni, especially since he thought i'm Serbian.

Lets see what will the IP address say.

It also depends on the price...

just look at Zanetti, i couldnt imagine him wearing a Juve jersey, but honored it a great deal,
i think that if Stankovic wishes to punish Inter and join us, he would start blaming them for many things short after his arrival!
That would be an interesting turn...
Zanetti is totally a different story. He never said anything bad wbout Juve. On the opposite, he arrived in the hardest times.

looool
wasn't he the guy with the 10 year old next rising star?
That would mean that he really is a Juve fan, he isnt though, the talk on Stankovic is overrated, he is just provocative, if he will join us and we beat Inter, he will sing against them for being losers...:spliff:

hence my question earlier about his track record in CL. He is serbia's captain afterall.
Well, he played for Inter, you don't expect a good CL record, do you. :D

His record in European competitions (CL, Cup winners cup and UEFA cup) is 89 matches/17 goals.

In CL his record is 64 matches/8 goals
In UEFA Cup 9 matches/0 goals
In Cup Winners Cup it's 16 matches/9 goals

I answered YES because i think it's ok for Stankovic to play for Juve.
If the question is do i want him in Juve then it depends on lots of things. Is he going to influence the potential transfer of Xabi Alonso, will his price tag hurt our transfer market in any way etc.
If his purchase won't affect the other buys this summer, then i'm absolutely ok with this transfer.

I mentioned Zanetti from our perspective he was useful, faithful and dedicated/loyal to our cause!
He has a different character than Stankovic, he is a quiet worker,
but if we were to ask him about the situation while he was an Inter player, he would probably answer in a similar way.
Stankovic is a yeller, a hard fighter, he never surrenders, he never accepts inferiority and defeat, he is Inter's Nedved,
i think this is normal to do those comments, that would made his fans proud of, as Neddy does for us!
He is such a man, such a character, an aspiring leader to dogfights!
Almost an emblem to Inter fans, i think we will humiliate them if we use their former asset to beat them and then unleash him on the press to do what he does best;)
I think he has now some reasons to hate Inter, reasons that will motivate him and make him wonna prove his value and nail them! Reports say he is eager to join us, that means he doesnt really believe what he said before and he now wants to prove smth!

9mil is a decent fee for him, but if Inter pays the same fee for Lampard...
As long as CR doesnt have to chose between him and someone like Alonso, then i wouldnt mind him join us!

you people let your emotions cloud your judgement on this transfer
we only have to ask ourselves if we need him and will he be great at Juve or not?

Very well explained, Cronios.

Even though i don't give a damn about these things and all i care about is their performance on the pitch, it's a sure thing that Stankovic signing for Juve is a shock for the Inter fans, not for us.
It's similar to Inter signing Camoranesi or Nedved.

They are two of the most hated Juve players by the Interisti. Camo was always provoking them with his statements how they were shitting their pants when they had to play Juve, Nedved was provoking them on the pitch (and the episode when he broke Figo into pieces).
Now imagine these two signed by Inter. Juve legends and fan favorites going to Inter.
Who's the loser here ?

From this perspective, it turns out that Inter fans are the losers if Stankovic signs for Juve.

i think its pretty stupid if we get stankovic for the price stipulated on goal.com. 9 million euros for stankovic while inter get lampard for the same price!?

they basically get him for free thanks to our stupid board's desperate attempt at signing a decent player!

you can obviously tell now that our board are not competent enough to compete with the other teams that have been landing big names for sweet deals...now i'm willing to give them till the end of the summer but if we suffer next year i'll be pissed!!

But you do know that there is a certain thing called player's wages, right? And you do know that Lampards wages in Inter will be 7.5m while Stankovc's wages are ~3m eur, right ?
I assume you also know that when you add the taxes Lampards yearly wages will be 15m eur while Stankovic's wages will be 6m eur.
And of course, you do know that when you make the math you'll see that for their 4 year contract Inter will have to pay 4x15= 60m eur for Lampard while we pay 4x6= 24m eur for Stankovic. This makes the difference 36m eur in 4 years, 9m eur per year.

If it's only the money we pay to the clubs that own Stankovic/Lampard that count, you don't really think we'd choose Stankovic over Lampard, do you ?

Unfortunately, financially we're inferior to Inter, Milan and the big Spanish/English teams. We can't offer Lampard the silly wages Abramovich and Moratti pay.

Too convincing of an argument by Cronios and Alen! Inter fans will cry about Stankovic leaving, wondering, "how could he go to Juventus? I HATE HIM."

Then we tell him to say, "I lied. I never liked Inter, I just had to say that stuff because Moratti held a gun to my head." :seven:

I don't like either player frankly, but considering the circumstances, I'd have to choose Stankovic over Lampard provided we secure Xabi Alonso. If we do secure the latter, that means we'll have our passer in the squad to play the ball around the pitch. Where would Lampard fit in regarding Ranieri's tactics? He'd have to play as the offensive pivot in the diamond midfield, which I'm not sure Ranieri wants to field. While on the other hand, Stank would give us cover for practically all midfield position barring DM. Then throwing in the wage discussion by Alen, it's obvious that we should stay away from Lamps.

Juve Fans Launch Anti-Stankovic Petition

Following the news that Dejan Stankovic is close to signing for Juventus, Bianconeri supporters have started another protest, launching a petition against the transfer.

It has been reported this afternoon that a transfer fee and personal terms have been agreed, and that Stankovic could sign for Juve within days or even hours.

Old Lady supporters last week campaigned against the possible deal, and upon the news that the transfer is close, have now launched another protest via the internet.

On J1897.com, the largest web forum for Juventus fans, supporters have launched a petition in the hope they will collect enough signatures to prevent the transfer going through.

Stankovic’s past slurs against Juventus have been quoted, including when he celebrated Inter’s Scudetto victory by declaring that “we win without stealing”, referring clearly to the Bianconeri’s alleged role in the Calciopoli crisis.

Supporters say that Stankovic has never accepted the superiority of Juventus on the field prior to 2006, and for this reason he does not deserve the honour of wearing the Bianconeri shirt.
