If i understood correctly, Stankovic's transfer to Juve won't exclude a transfer of a CM (be it Xabi or someone else).

If it's CM+Stankovic then i'm absolutely in favor of this transfer. If it's Stankovic and no CM then i'm 100% against Stankovic to Juve.

Restano in ballo Xabi Alonso e Senna. Per Aquilani, invece, si studia uno scambio che preveda l'inserimento come contropartite tecniche di Iaquinta e Marchionni da aggiungersi ad un'offerta economica.

You think this is true?

it's an article full of "may have agreed"..."close to reach a deal"...for 9.5m € and 3m to the player + the rights to Marchisio and ½ of Giovinco.

I guess you want to say that people should translate the non-English articles because not everyone here understands Italian, Spanish, Croat.
And i agree with you here. If not the whole article people should at least write 2 sentences about what's said in the articles.

As for the translation of this article, it says that an agreement between Stankovic and Juve is very close. Stankovic accepted the pay-cut and he's going to earn 3m eur per year while Juve will have to pay around 9.5m to Inter.
We're still interested in Xabi and Senna while we're supposedly ready to offer cash+Marchionni and Iaquinta for Aquilani.

He was poor last season, but during our season in serie b he was great for Inter.

Like Alen has already pointed out, just as long as we still sign a cm, than this is good business.

Stankovic nears Juve switch
Friday 27 June, 2008

Juventus are close to signing Dejan Stankovic after agreeing personal terms with the Inter outcast.

Stankovic’s future at the Nerazzurri was compromised by his staunch defence of former boss Roberto Mancini and new Coach Jose Mourinho seems to be keen to get rid of the Serbian star.

According to Tuttosport, Stankovic has been told that he won’t be allowed to join the rest of the squad for their pre-season camp in South Tyrol on July 19 and he will be forced to train with the youth team if he doesn’t find another club.

In spite of protests from Juve fans, who hold a grudge against Stankovic for snubbing them when he left Lazio in 2004, the Old Lady are set to step in and spare the versatile midfielder that indignity and have reportedly agreed a fee of around £7m with Inter.

Reports now suggest that Stankovic has agreed to lower his wage demands to £2.5m per year in order to pen a deal with Juve.

Meanwhile, the Turin giants continue to be linked with further midfield reinforcement in the shape of Liverpool’s Xabi Alonso and his teammate in the Spanish national side Marco Senna.

One of worst signings ever! I don't like (Don't want to use HATE) this guy at all! Why we should sign a player in his age and he has said he dosen't like Juve in past 3-4 times? and about chaeating Juve!

Juventus dosen't need him. 95% of Juventus fans worldwide are against this move and Secco continue this .... Damn Secoo!

And Mark! Please change your avatar. This guy look miserable in Juve shirt! Make a poll with this title:

Should Mark Change his Avatar (Stankovic in Juve's Jersey)?
1. Yes

Stankovic is a good option as he will provide backup to a variety of midfield positions.

Folk should also note that he seems to have agreed to take a pay cut to make this deal happen.

It works with Sissoko and it seems to work with Stankovic.

"I'll never join Juve, I prefer to stay where I'm right now (on my bed) than to play for such pathetic team"

Should I expect a call from Secco now?
