And Barca's best run of form this season came while Messi was injured and Neymar posted 14 goals-9 assists in 10 games. They need to start running more of the attacking play through Neymar's side. They play a far too Messi-dependent style this year.

Messi lost a step this year. I'm sure he'll be back to form next year, too competitive to not be.

He needs to go back to attack, Lost a step but it's not the main reason for the less goal production (besides injury and struggling with form for a while). He is super creative but he has a Rooney syndrom right now, he thinks he is a full on midfielder, amount of times he is in front of busquetz making through balls increased alot (defenitely spends alot of time being in Pirlo like zones). He used to interchange between coming deep and blitzing forward, but now focuses too much on former and leaves too much of the central penetration to Suarez. It's most evident in games Vs settled defences. Games they use counters mostly is where he gotten his goals.

This second half is an exception, he actually tries to go forward more right now instead of just being AM.

And Neymar needs to demand more of the ball, Barca is at its best by far when the three forwards are linking up, and Neymar's playing too passively and far too wide since Messi came back. He needs to start playing closer to Suarez again, and making more runs into the box.
