I don't think so, his side kept trying to hit fast on the counter while sitting back. It's just that Ronaldo and Di Maria were a bit more further up the pitch than an Eto'o and Pandev, as that's just how they are. It was his same sort of style, except that he had a passer in midfield instead of another destroyer. It simply didn't work this time. You can't always sit back against that team and think you'll win.

Really poor game for neutral, I don't find excitement in watching one team humiliating other. Also Real didn't show up at all, it was like they were on training, while Barca covered whole pitch, and didn't gave an inch of space to Real players.

Also referee was one of the worst I saw, to let Arbeloa kick Messi three times like that, and than other Barca player and not call a foul not to say give a yellow card is a fucking disgrace. He also let tensions rise up and I blame him for the whole chaos on the field and all cards he gave.

Playacting is another chapter, I'm sure that many will get calls from Hollywood. What I hated the most is how after every foul,corner, out, goalkick, offside etc. we could at least three Barca players complaining and moaning to referee and trying to put pressure on him

Yeah theset up of the team was the same just the roles were different, to say Khedira and Xabi both pushed up instead of closing down that gap in front of the defenders says a lot. This Madrid was intending to go toe to toe with Barca. Ricky C then had to deal with Messi alone,that explains why they got carved many a time from such a deep position.

Defending deep with the 3 DMs covering them would not make our fullbacks look so bad. Sure we cannot defeat barca playing like that unless we are very lucky but we would definitely do better than what madrid did today,arsenal last year or UTD did a couple of years ago.

I'm finding that in all the leagues. I really do prefer the old days (for me) of Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga, back around the turn of the century. Miss watching players like Zizou, Rivaldo, Mostovoi, Scholl and others. Seemed more about football back then, as opposed to today's hype.

When you're leading 5:0 and you have opponents who feel humiliated, angry and ready to kill someone, you don't go on to dribble them in the last seconds and try to humiliate them even more because you can end up with a broken leg. Real Madrid have no problem dissing out humiliating defeats to smaller teams so they should take it like men when they are so clearly bested by Barcelona. If they can't handle losing like this and lash out in anger then that says alot about either the character of these players or the culture of professional football in Spain. There is absolutely no reason why Messi should have to play below a level he is capable of to protect other professional athletes from having their feelings hurt.

Any player who lashes out in anger or attempts to injure someone in a situation like this deserves a lengthy ban.

that is not different from PEPE going nuts and kicking the guy on the ground. Ramos should have something like a six game ban atleast. btw, all 3 went for his leg not the ball.. all 3 should receive some sort of punishment.
