Nothing wrong with how Barca spend money, ambitiously improve their team. Only thing wrong was how Laporta called out Real.

How Real operate is rather fickle and the whole football world points it out, less so about spending (even if its clear part of it when its 258m in 1 frigging summer), but more about the idea that you can sell and buy new team of the drop of a hat, with new coach everytime, despite them winning titles etc. No matter how much biasm or hate one has for Barca, can hardly say anything they do or operate as, is remotely close to that.

its all a matter of point of view, how is it not fickle to splash close to a 100 mil(and that including players sold) when your team just won everything? not to mention both set of fans belong in a gulag

Then again. Why not spend big after you've won everything?

Because you can allways improve? And they earned the money with success so why not renew with some quality? Only pointless one is Chygrinsky, because they didnt need a new CB, especially for that sum, but Pep likes a certain type of players and they indulged him. The price was mainly due to Shaktar owner being ridicolously rich and not needing to sell.

Different buying 6 new starting players, with around 250m, sell star players like Robben and et al, and in general do unnecessary house cleaning and new coach every season, and to buy 1 starting player in Ibra. The rest of the team was rather set, and its just adding another piece (albeit one that didnt fit in), not totally changing it up, like ones playing FM or such.
