One of the poorest Classico's in a long time imo. Barca were poor but Real were just poorer, and that was the difference in the end.

Messi played a poor game despite scoring a goal, he missed one clear cut chance that he really should have scored. Pedro also despite his goal was a bit wasteful in possession, Keita too played too many stray passes. Xavi was a mastermind today, what a performance, in these past 2 weeks Xavi has been the form player. Busquets too i thought had a good game. Another Barca player that did well was Pique, he was brilliant especially against C.Ronaldo.
it was such a tactical game ....it wasn't poor imo...there was a goal, 2 huge chances for messi...another one from van der vaart, so there was some show imo. Puyol worths mentioning for his effords.

I agree on the missed chance, that was a poor finish. You can't be serious about him being the worst player though.
he was the worst player on that pitch...give me another name...ronaldo? hell no..he wasn't invisible all the match then missed that kind of opportunity. Higuain is close though.

It wasn't really that tactical.

Barca just packed the midfield and Real weren't clever enough to find a way through/round that.

Gago was poor too and Alonso was almost totally anonymous.
:agree:

I'm not saying he really performed, but not many on the pitch for Madrid did. He was definitely not the worst.

And I just love Guti, when he came on he delivered some nice passes. He has a certain style, what he does looks really classy. Killer left foot. He may be an annoying spoilt brat, but I don't care.

I didn't realise anyone else who wasn't a Real fan felt like that. I've always had a soft spot for Guti and his left foot.

I have a thing for these gifted, 'lazy' players. He's an exceptional player on his day and I always pay extra attention to him when he's on the pitch, because he usually delivers some eye-candy.

Marcelo worked hard and was on the end of a couple of shots, i thought he was more involved than VDV, but his decision making was absolutely woeful.
