Breno upset with Real Madrid age demands
A move by Real Madrid may have left them on the outer in the battle for Sao Paulo defender Breno.
The 18 year-old Brazilian has Real, Bayern Munich and AC Milan chasing his signature and it's emerged that the Spanish club actually demanded he undergo an X-Ray examination to prove his age.
"If Real really want me," said Breno, "I shouldn't have to undergo any examinations. They can just try for another defender."
"As far as I'm concerned, there's no problem. I am sure of my age."

Edmílson Outburst Will Not Affect Barça - Schuster
Bernd Schuster does not believe that Edmílson's outburst signifies that there are any problems at Barcelona and believes that the club will absorb the problems it caused.
The Real Madrid coach was asked about his thoughts on the Brazilian's declarations that there is a black sheep at Camp Nou and that many players are more concerned about money than football.
"From the outside I do not think that the atmosphere in the Barceloan dressing is bad," Schuster explained.
"He has made some comments, but that does not mean that the atmosphere within the squad is bad.
"But I have already said that the important thing is to focus on ourselves, so I don’t care about what happens at Barcelona. The only thing important to me is what we do.
"That’s why it is also important that the players have returned in good shape and that they have all qualified for the Euro 2008. We are leaders and we shouldn’t look back. We have an important month ahead of us.
"Barcelona and Real Madrid are great teams that know how to deal with pressure. I’m not worried about their problems because I know they will keep playing at the same level."

This weekend Madrid travel to play Real Murcia and Schuster is well aware of the dangers posed by Lucas Alcaraz's side.

Finally, Schuster expressed his surprise that England failed to qualify for the European Championships next summer.
"I think it surprised all of us," he said. "Once again, it has been obvious that tightness not only exists in leagues. Many international sides have suffered.
